As an “ActiveBuilding Custom-Branded App,” the quality of the Cortland+ app relies solely on the quality of the ActiveBuilding app. Cortland+ is simply the ActiveBuilding app with a custom splash screen.
Unfortunately, the wrapped app seems to be a hastily-designed and minimally-tested wrapper of RealPage’s web application, which itself has issues. Diversifying your (RealPage’s) platform before solidifying the basis of what the branches are built on is a recipe for disaster, which is apparent in the limited and buggy abilities of this application.
This isn’t directly a Cortland issue, but since many properties use RealPage as their leasing platform, you may expect the user experience to be exceptional. A $6.2B company should be able to squeeze their budget enough to hire some quality web and mobile software engineers.
