They should've let it die
DDL has effectively destroyed the whole thing, they should have let it die with Anki Drive and Overdrive, the new app doesn't work and I had to box everything a couple of years ago, I just got it out if the box again today and I was hoping they have fixed it but they didn't.
Guardian can't move straight, nuke is so glitchy that if you or any of the bots land on it the app freezes, freewheel can not be selected, and x52 ice doesn't even exist in the game anymore, mammoth and Dynamo don't even have icons.
I lost my progress and when I try to log in I get the “server not available” message.
It's a shame that something so great was reduced to this by an incompetent company like DDL, they added nothing to the setting but took almost everything from it.
Even Victor was left behind (I have the original one), you can't connect it to the new service they offer in an attempt to make you get the V2.

Me and my little brother wanted to play this together but it said the wifi wasn’t connected and I tried everything and it isn’t working even though I very much do have wifimiles from canadia
Doesn’t work.
Started off well, was glad to to see an app to make this work since the official ones were removed from the store. However a frustrating hour later and it simply doesn’t work. First off, only the basic vehicles and tracks are supported. It doesn’t work with the fast and furious cars or track. So, skull, ground shock and guardian are the only cars I could use. After building numerous tracks with varying complexity the cars go on an infinite ‘scanning track’ mode. Never actually finishing. Eventually I built a small loop using only the starter pack track & the same thing happened. Such a shame, I thought I’d get new life out of some old toys, but ended up asking for a refund and boxing the track up to take to the topShow lessMrpogden

The game used to be great but the more time advanced the less updates it got to the point where the game doesn’t really work with recent tablet or cellphone.Nylkos
Updated app is an improvement
I wouldn’t say the app is perfect but I’m glad they re-released it and it has support for all vehicles. My son is excited to have his game back and has been playing it nonstop. There are a few minor glitches where it hangs up sometimes and the WiFi multiplayer connection doesn’t work, but overall it does what it needs to.Show lesswamblej

There is no way to find out what to do or how to even connect the cars which is needed to even play the game
Please add instructions which tell us how to connect cars and what each button does because so far I have no idea how to even get the cars connected to use themGs0007

We always play this game on Christmas, well, we used to. Now that app does not work and does not let us connect the devices. It has appeared many people are having the same problems and Overdrive should definetely review that app and fix problems. 😵😵💫TexasAusAlexas
Terrible App
Only one of my vehicles works for it, and I have 7, tell me how that makes sense. As far as the actual app working, it doesn’t, because there are no servers. If you want to charge $3 for an app, you might want to make sure that it works to begin with(even though it should have been free if I already bought all the cars and tracks but that’s besides the point). A really awful experience trying to get this thing to work. I could find some nostalgia from almost any other game I play, not Anki drive, because they don’t even try to make it work. Fix. Your. Poor Remake
I have the original Anki Overdrive app, and it’s better than this one. The company that created Anki Overdrive went out of business a while ago now, so don’t expect any new updates and improvements. This app was a waste of money, I mean, it hardly works! It’s very delayed, (I play on the latest iPad),and the Fast and Furios Edition vehicles don’t even have an icon. Digital Dream Labs “bought” Anki Overdrive and a few other of Anki’s products. They have added absolutely NOTHING! The only thing they did is make a dumb app for Overdrive. (They removed the original one, so now you don’t really have any other options to play Anki Overdrive on mobile.) It is actually very difficult to connnect any vehicles. It takes forever, and 9 times out of 10, it just boots you out of the app. In conclusion, do not purchase this app; it was a waste of money.Show lessRydeOrDie120
