No longer works in philly

Stopped working as well for me about 2 3 weeks ago. Now the only rides i do are the ones I go in to the Lyft app sched. ride section and find myself. Which is strange because they shouldn’t even be there because this app is supposed to get those for me? The only rides i get from skeddy now are below the price target i get and few & far between. Edit: Ive used this app for years i know how the settings work. Its you skeddy. Not me.

Just No

Oh my, this thing is the worst. I don’t know where to start complaining about how bad this thing is. Can’t regulate what area I start out in at the beginning of my day nor choose a focus area. How to shut it off is buried away and I can’t guarantee if I remove the app that it will stay shut off. Turns itself on whenever it wants to and I can’t easily change settings based on what I want to do each week. Only keeping it to make sure it stays shut off.

Tens of thousands of drivers find the Skeddy app profitable and convenient. You can talk to them on our Facebook page: bit.ly/34LTckx. If you face a problem, please get in touch with Support so we can help you. When satisfied, consider revisiting this review.

Great app, few glitches

Very useful app for booking rides in advance. One complaint: I cannot buy more credits, or the “buy more credits” function is not working, which means I cannot use the app until this gets resolved. Other than that, it works exactly as it should and makes Lyft much easier.

Veteran Ride share Driver & Entrepreneur

I’ve been a ride-share driver for 5 years and had been in the start-up & tech world in SF for over 20. I thought I had figured out every trick of the trade when it came to ride-share . I had not. Skeddy is a game changer for me. The developers of this app have taken Lyft, who at this point was all but useless to me, and transformed them into my most profitable gig work. I have been offered as many as 20 rides by skeddy, that in no way could have happened without them, and only had the time to to complete a few. The last one was this morning. The ride gave me gross dollars of $108 plus tip, my effective rate from 7:30a-9:00a was $75 per hour. The kind of money I used to earn back in the “good-‘ol’-days”. I have another scheduled tonight and I would be surprised if I didn’t gross about the same $ amount over the 2 hour period.

I do have some thoughts, ideas and questions and would like to speak with developers about a few topics. Feel free to reach out any time.

Thanks guys! Truly a paradigm shift as to how I was viewing ride-share.

3rd world country support desk

Been trying to explain an issue that only affects Chicago lux black drivers but their support desk doesn’t comprehend English enough to understand the issue.

I’m no longer going to be buying credits until I can speak to someone beyond the help desk.

Sometimes the plan works.

Sometimes the plan works and sometimes it doesn’t. Skeddy is a nice resource to have tucked away. Set your filters for dollars and distance, set your location pin and off you go. Skeddy will pair you with rides that fall within your limit for distance to pick-up and your minimum payout for the ride. Often, longer rides are cancelled so it doesn’t pay to plan your day around a ride. One has to be relaxed about it. If I’m on the other side of town and a Skeddy ride interrupts my flow, I’ll leave it on the board for another driver.

Today, I set my ride acceptance limit set to $50. If a longer ride fits into my workflow and mood, I might take it depending on how far it’s going, the time of day, and how tired I am.

There are a couple of things that might make this a better app. I’d like to be able to set a ride distance limit. Longer rides often require a dead-head back. I may be willing to take a 60 mile ride but not the 200 mile ride. I’d also like to be able to specify direction. I may be willing to take a long run to the east but because of weather or traffic have no interest in going north.

Skeddy is good. Sometimes a nice ride will come in over night and give me a good start to the day. It’s worth having in the tool box.
