  • Less is more

Easy to follow and has got me into stretching everyday
  • Amazing

I love this. Stumbled upon it by accident. This is a game changer. What do I love? It’s similar to yoga in that the stretches are “yoga moves”. What makes It different than yoga is that it cuts to the chase. No rambling, talking that you get in yoga videos. It has a timer. 30’seconda do this. Then, goes straight to next stretch with 30 second timer. No fluff. No talk. Just amazing stretches and exercises. Not a second wasted that is unrelated. I love it so much. Also 30 minute exercise is all exercise. Nobody talking for 2 minutes about whatever. I am grateful.

  • Great for novice stretchers

I love the short routines they keep me stretching everyday and working me up to the more challenging ones. Also, it’s a great value.
I workout almost everyday but stretch very little with this app however I have been consistent on my stretching and I feel a heck of a lot better.
  • Great app, but really needs a few tweaks / tech updates.

This is an outstanding app with loads a terrific stretch routines and options for customizing routines. Users can set reminders and create stretch routines the meet their specific needs for various purposes and times of day.

The main problem I have is that it doesn’t allow for stats to be tracked across multiple devices. The creators seem to think that we’re always going to use one device, so when I switch between three devices (iPhone, iPad Mini and full iPad - different locations, including travel, home and office) my stats reset. I’ve had lots of “1-Day” streaks, even without missing a day for weeks. Bad for an app that has a stated purpose of building consistency through motivation and ease of use.

A second minor issue is that the app only allows one daily reminder. Again, the design doesn’t match the goal of getting users to stretch often, for various reasons.

Finally, the screen won’t rotate, making an iPad with attached keyboard or stand awkward, unless you don’t have problems visually translating a 90-degree rotation while stretching.

All this said, it’s better than most apps I’ve seen.

    Developer Response

Hey! Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback! :) If you download the latest version of Bend you can create an account which allows you to share your stats across multiples devices. Also noted regarding the daily reminders and landscape mode on iPad - we're planning to add this functionality very soon! Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and please email me at anna@getbend.co if have any other questions!
  • Amazing

Initially I was reluctant to pay for this app but I’m so glad I did. As a 57-year old woman, and after years of illness, I had lost much range of motion and confidence in what my body can still do. After just one week with Bend, I have recovered so much and my body confidence is restored. The app is flexible and unjudgemental. It has set routines or u can concentrate on one body area, or just do the stretches you want. The instructions are clear and you can set a reminder at the same time each day to do your stretches. If you are unsure like I was, just join for one month (less than £5) and see how you like it. You won’t be disappointed in the app or what your body can do.

  • Simple yet effective

    While im
Still on the trial I find this app very helpful. Clicking on the picture giving you detailed instructions. And timed exercises. It doesn't need to be hard in the beginning. As long as your doing something. I struggle with body pains. I must admit even after doing a 5 min exercise I feel a little better than before. Let's face it waking up 5 mins earlier to do this exercise won't kill
U but it could help you

  • Stretch it out

I signed up beginning of the year and haven’t looked back. I’ve missed a couple days but for the most part I’m stretching no less than once a day sometimes twice and eventually I’ll be going three times a day to improve my flexibility and to relax when tense. I’m sure I could find the same stretches online but the app keeps me motivated. I’ll stick around!

  • A must have app for Seniors!

I suggest you try the free trial (no risk) and just do the Wake Up session for a week. It takes 5 minutes, and after 5 days you should notice a difference in your flexibility. I noticed a marked difference in doing the simple things in the morning; putting on socks, tying shoes, etc. I have more range of motion and less inflammation. I then progressed to the Lower Back session and now the Hamstring session. For me, this app delivered.

  • Feeling younger with less pain!

This is my favorite app! I was not very limber when I started this and I have improved so much. I still have a way to go but now I have tools to help me. I feel better throughout my day. This is completely worth the money I spent. My knees, hips and back don’t hurt as much as they used to; some days they don’t feel bad at all. It is truly a gift to go through your day NOT thinking about aching body parts. I feel younger and healthier all over, mind and body. Thank you for this wonderful app.
