  • Good, but never anything new

I really like Bend - it's visually appealing and simple to use with no annoying voice overs or music. I use it pretty much every day, and that's the reason for only 4 stars. Because I use it every day and because there is never any new content, I'm getting bored and it's not feeling as challenging any more. I know I could write my own routines, and there are loads of exercises in the apps library but the majority of them don't feature in the routines provided. Also, I don't expect to have to do that in an app I'm paying for. I won't be renewing my subscription unless there is significant new content. There's no point - I know all the routines almost off by heart now!

  • Has the potential to be great

This app, like many of the fitness/body wellness apps, has a solid foundation of having different programs that meet different needs — targeting certain body areas, time frames, etc., but there’s no guidance.

For example, when you set up the app, it asks you a variety of questions to learn about you. But it doesn’t really structure a program tailored to you, where you currently are at in your wellness journey, or your needs. You click beginner, but in all of the programs you have five seconds to transition into the next pose/stretch with no auditory or visual guidance as to how to properly do that. It’ll give you five seconds to go from a back bending pose to a lunge pose. That doesn’t make sense nor is it healthy. They have a little button you can click on to read how to properly do a pose but you’d have to stop the timer so you can read without wasting the time you’re given to do the pose. That’s not effective, and one of the reasons I wouldn’t pay for this app.

For beginners, and all levels really, it’s more efficient to be guided in a visual and auditory manner. That makes it more inclusive, mindful, effective and unique.

  • Fantastic

Love this app, easy to follow, lots of options and results come
  • It’s ok

Probably not for beginners- no video or even animated instructions on how to utilise the poses. Relatively static so it seems, doesn’t seem to offer much in the way of personalisation. It’s basically a list of yoga poses you could probably find online, with a sequence and a timer, and text only instructions with a drawn image of the final pose.
I don’t think it deserves the average rating it has, which is why, along with the relatively affordable price, I decided to buy it.

If you use it however, there’s no doubt you’ll get benefit, however without personalisation and better instruction, it’s potentially dangerous to beginners.

  • Great app, but wish it wasn’t so expensive!

I downloaded this app because I play 3 sports and have slowly been becoming less flexible, to strengthen my core a little, and to feel better overall. The free routine they give you has eight stretches and is a nice routine to get my morning going, but unfortunately it’s the only free routine. I’m debating just getting a subscription, but I wish they had at least one small free routine of stretches for each category of the body they have. I certainly recommend getting this app if you’re willing to pay that much for the subscription or you just want a little morning stretch routine. The app appears to have a lot of very nice stretching routines for all parts of the body and all levels of experience, but I don’t know if I can justify the purchase.

  • Bend is amazing

Before I started using Bend I had no idea how quickly I could address my lack of flexibility, and pain by regularly following the Bend workouts/programmes. Even the five minute morning routine delivered immediate benefits.
  • Much more flexible

This app allows you to do the best thing ever it’s called stretching and it’s really good for you and I personally think that this is one of the best stretching apps there is because it is so good stretch after a nice day or in the morning you can also pause this app whenever you like I’ve been having a great time doing this app and it’s been the highlight to my life making me much more flexible and I rate this five stars because it also allows you to be one of the most flexible people in your school and when you do it in the morning, it gets all stretched and ready for the rest of the day and it’s also best for a lot of things has a page when you first login and it has medical conditions and perfect stretching for all those conditions and I hope you will have fun doing this app because it is very fun and it allows you to be much more flexible and it’s really fun to go to work or school every single day by stretching so please download this app because I recommend it for you
