  • Excellent App and easy to use for stretching

This app is easy to use. Set exercise routines are great and I love the ability to create my own routine to suit my needs. It’s really helpful to have the caution at the bottom of each stretch that is tailored to my individual areas of concern, so I don’t overdo it. I’m a beginner, so being able to shorten or lengthen duration of each stretch in the routine has been great for me. Lots of information about each stretch and what parts of the body it helps work on. I’m 25 days in, doing a morning and evening stretch routine and it’s motivating me to continue.

  • Markeaux’s Comments

I see ad after ad about chair yoga that costs a fortune or you have to pay some type of subscription fee and ads for weight loss where you have to listen to a 30 minute intro to find out how much their supplements costs. I’m 66 and never experienced sciatica issues until a few months ago. Actually a B supplement has helped. But my right hip flares up when I drive. Where the seat belt is in contact with my body. I want to enjoy daily walks again and preserve my health. I think an app like this could be a successful tool to help reach my goals.

  • Helping me achieve my fitness goals

This is a great app. I wanted to improve my flexibility, both to feel better and to improve my flexibility for golf. I was able accomplish both tasks with this app.

They have a large variety of exercises and the interface is easy to use. The pre-made programs are a good place to start and I really like the ability to customize programs.

I wish the app didn’t default to 5 seconds between exercises and allowed you to favorite custom programs but those are minor wishes in an overall great app.

  • Feels like you need to buy full access

There’s barely anything you can do without paying full access. I would be happy to pay but there is no difficulty levels as there should be. Even though at the start it asks you a couple of questions to ‘personalise your routine.’ If you don’t pay full access this isn’t actually possible as there is only 1 routine that you can get without paying full access. One of the questions says if you are beginner, intermediate, or advanced, I put intermediate as I have had quite a lot of experience but the routines are a little bit to simple for me. People looking for a very basic routine just to get them moving might find it helpful though.

  • Not enough in free version

The “free” version doesn’t give you enough to be able to determine if it will be worth spending money on it. One 5 minute routine with 8 basic stretches. There are pictures of the poses and a timer with no instructions on how to do them. There’s no background music or sounds. That’s not worth paying for. I understand that more is unlocked when purchased but the purpose of a free trial is to demonstrate what we will be getting if we pay. So judging on that - I’d recommend an app like Apple Fitness+ that costs the same, has the same stretches under the yoga category but offers way more (is a whole gym experience) and suits beginners very well with personal guided training and routines not made by AI.
The most promoted apps are usually the least effective so don’t listen to those TikTok videos.

  • Get Bendy

I use it every morning before work, I work one of the most physical jobs in the world as an underground miner, this helps me reduce injury! I start the day feeling flexible and strong. I have just started making custom routines but quite enjoy the lower back neck and full body ones as well.
  • Feel some much better and more flexible after a month of use

The daily reminders and tracking are a big help! It is easy to use and I can already feel more flexible from using it daily. I am not as sore after working out since starting using bend. It keeps track of days used, this pushes me to use bend everyday to keep my streak going. I wish they had stretches focused on seniors because I would like to get this setup for my parents to use, as they have gotten older flexibility and mobility is a concern, I would like to be able to have them start some easier exercises and work their way up.

  • Brilliant App

I’ve recently used this app as I signed up for the half price offer. I find it absolutely brilliant at keeping me accountable for my daily mobility and flexibility training alongside weightlifting. The app puts together a great routine for you which is really easy to follow with written instructions and visuals.

Some things I would really love to see incorporated are breathing techniques aimed to relieve tension and for the routines to also include how a person should be breathing during each pose/action so it’s a bit easier for beginners - like a timer for inhaling and exhaling throughout each step.

I’m really loving this app and would highly recommend to anyone!

  • Amazing App to help you practice yoga. Great visuals and instructions

I can’t say enough great things about this app. It really helps you get into gentle yoga with the option for quick routines or more complex and lengthier sessions. It’s timed and lets you relax into the poses with an audible beep when moving to the next exercise. You don’t have to keep looking at your phone for the countdown timer.
There are lots of specialized workouts for specific parts of the body and posture exercises. Really jam packed full of routines and not too much unnecessary fluff to the app adding distraction.

    Thank you Bend!!!

  • Worth the download

I’m only on my second day, and still using the free trial, but it’s a very good, clean, and easy to use app.
I appreciate the inclusion of a free trial, which allows you to get a feel for the app first. The morning routine is enough to still get value and have something to refer to for time or positions etc.
I’d be tempted to get the premium version, but I’ll see how I go over the next 5 days.
