It showed 13 dollars at the app but when I pains it on person it was 17$ and it’s not like there was any traffic or anything

Customer service representative

I had the worst customer service experience while on call with them. I called to inquire about my ride and never saw someone being rude like this and being employed as customer service.
I don’t understand why they have to be rude when the job is to solve issues and ask me to “chill-out”. They told me that the driver is not willing to take the job but that does not mean i have to wait for more than 1 hour. I think the service is worst and using it as a monopoly in Kamloops. No matters at all.
These kind of behaviour clearly shows that he does not deserve or qualify to work on customer service platform.

This is Canada where we value people and not disrespecting them. I wish this was recorded and their supervisor would be able to listen

Use uride instead

I highly recommend uride over Kami cabs (it’s similar to Uber), a dollar or two more always on time, incredible costumer service, and nicer vehicles.

Automatically add 10% tip with no notification

In some of the updates they added auto 10% tip in every ride.I would not mind doing that if that would be asked after ride but they do it without your initiation. I don’t know how Apple approved this update

Waiting time

Kami cabs doesn’t prioritize time , it’s only a few times they’ve been fast but the rest I’ve had to wait sometimes up to an hour at the worst places possible, it’s a serious inconvenience and they need to do better

Rude customer service.

Pre booking a cab the day means you should prebook over an hour before the time you wish to leave.
Prebooked for 650 am so I could be at work at 730. At 720 called the dispatch to ask for an estimated time and the dispatcher just went off screaming about how their short drivers in the sahali area, fair that’s understandable staff shortages I get it. However the fact she screamed at me about it when I was already stressed about being late to work sent me into a full panic attack, not only was I crying, I was apologizing to her while she continued to scream. I get that not everyone is nice when speaking to service workers, I work in fast food service, I’ve been yelled at, had things thrown at me, and threatened with violence and death. You however don’t get to speak to a customer like that when the first words out of their mouth are “uh sorry I had a cab prebooked and was just curious about the current wait time is”.
Hopefully she gets some customer service training or basic human empathy.
I decided to take the city buses and be late for work by an hour anyways, as the drivers are nicer and way more reliable then that.

Awesome driver!

My driver was so cheerful and energetic even though my ride was super early in the morning. I love his energy and I appreciate him so much!

The amount of cab drivers they have is pathetic. That's why need competition like uber to make them work for their money. The rudest dispatchers i have ever seen

Kamloops needs UBER ASAP

It sucks honestly but it is literally all there is 🙄 Rides take forever to get to you, don’t bother booking in advance as they’ll come whenever. I’m not saying the drivers are at fault, I want to think it’s because there aren’t enough drivers which is more reasons to have other companies like Uber or Lyft but whatever. If you use your international number there’s no way you can communicate with the driver so it sucks. At least you can cancel anytime and they won’t charge u at all. Also, the cost will always be more than the one it shows in the app.
