  • only thing that would make this app better....

would be if users could drop in images into entries. i use this function very often as a teacher and artist on the notes app and would love to move all of my note taking over onto everlog. i think all sorts of folks would enjoy this function if it was available.

other than that - i love the ability to have catergories/diffferent folders aka different journals, i love the color coding function, i love the data syncing on phone and mac (mac version is a bit laggy), i love the simple format.

  • Disappointed

Suddenly can’t write entries in any of my journals unless I sign up for premium. Can’t adjust the date unless I sign up for premium. The app has become unusable overnight.
  • Ask a question, get an answer! Impressive!

I had an issue with being unable to attach photos to my daily journal entries. I looked up the developer’s name and sent him an email describing the problem. He personally answered the first email within a day. The issue wasn’t resolved so I emailed details. Next day: step by step help as to how to solve the problem. I didn’t expect an answer to my first email, so I’m impressed that he cared enough to answer, even to sending a follow up making sure I was fully satisfied with the product and the service, Which I am ! sks

  • Great app, laggy on macOS

I found this app last month, and I already have the premium version because I think it's worth it. it's the only cross-platform app I know of and markdown support is a nice touch, but currently the Mac app sometimes gets pretty laggy when I am typing. While I do have a lot of entries, this does not happen on my iPad.

  • Love the app, BUT...

I love the layout and function of the app, but what journaling apps need to relize is the need for end-to-encryption and this app doesn't seem to have it. A journal (diary) can contain the most personal of information about ones life so the need to have it totally locked down to ONLY the owner of the journal is a must!! Without end-to-end ecryption it is pretty much another note taking app.

This is a well designed app. Just wish I could use it without hesitancy.

  • Truly minimalistic.

I only have 2 other needs when it comes to a journaling companion other than simplicity and those are organization and convenience.

The organization by a date on a separate tab is a wonderful idea and it helps keep the platform clean and orderly. The convenience of this app also connects with how easily I can retrace my entries and go back at any given time.

I use this on my iPad and I love it but I guess I’m also wishing that this is made available on Android OS. I think it would definitely hit a broader target and will have more market exposure.

  • I love this app

This might actually be one of my favorite apps of all time. It’s so simple, I’m constantly impressed by the design, and it makes me feel so much better knowing I now have such a lovely place to store all my thoughts and important dates.
  • Interesting app

Overall the app is very good. Simple and easy to use. I do like I can use Siri and put in notes on the fly. It also says that it imports DayOne entries. This is great as I do current have an account with DayOne Unfortunately it is hard to test some of the features as you have to purchase it before you do. It has no help section. Developers website is only a place to put your email address. No pictures. No video of product.

  • Everlog is a great app for tracking things

I find it far easier to quickly log items in this app than in any of the more feature heavy note or diary apps. For me, this convenience puts Everlog squarely in the five star category.
  • Very Impressed

This is really a fantastic little app! Anyone needing to keep an ongoing written log will benefit from this. My use case is facility management where I need to take lots of quick (time/date stamped) notes to document complaints, issues, and actions throughout the day. I'd been struggling to find a tech solution to the problem because all the apps I found were either too basic or too complicated. This app sits nicely in the middle. It's almost perfect. That it's available in iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions is blowing my mind given how modest it is. If I could ask the author for one thing it would be tags. Tags would make it perfect. And if you develop it further please consider integrating with Apple Reminders and Apple Calendar. Well done Wessley. Very impressed.
