$70 for what?

Now to say if this app even works, I don’t know. But it’s ridiculous that people will find any reason to take peoples money. You would think when it comes to parenting, & mental health, there would be more “free options” to help people. You get all the way through the process of creating a custom goal & creating your account THEN it decides to ask you for $70. You can go to a licensed professional with the same amount of money you’re dumping into an app, & you can also read books on it.

Very helpful

Mama of four and a home daycare provider. This is such an affective way to help my mindset. I listen first thing as I wake up, put it right under my ear. Same before bed, great for help.

Why would we charge people who are struggling?

This app seemed so awesome for me, and my sister. I’m struggling with aLOT of different things and was hoping that this app would help me. But it’s $70 a year! I just don’t understand why we would charge for something like this, so many moms out there who are struggling and don’t have the support we need, and this app could be super beneficial and probably is for the people who make more. But for now this is just a disappointment, put me through a whole bunch of questionnaires and made it seem like help was coming, and then no. Sorry I’m just emotional.

Anxious parenting

I struggle with anxiety and my first reaction is to attempt to control everyone and everything around me which makes me miserable because obviously I can’t and it makes me feel more helpless when it fails. This app saves me when I’m sinking. Sometimes I feel like I’m at my lowest and I’ve exhausted all the people I can vent to and I can’t get a therapy appointment fast enough, but doing this hypnotherapy brings me back to center and I’m okay again. I immediately have patience and peace again. Sometimes I cry from feelings releasing during a session but it’s okay, it feels cleansing. I think any parent who is struggling with difficult emotions should try this.

I can’t say enough about this app I literally feel like I’m In a face to face consultation his voice just calms me he speaks about everything im going through it helps so much to know that I am understood on all of the symptoms I have , im always asking my self if im the only one who feels so overwhelmed being a mom , with body and mental changes after having kids , after my last baby who is 8 month old my life took a turn with having eclampsia, postpartum anxiety and depression insomnia my whole self just turned inside out I’ve been through a lot of stress but I’ve gotten so much better except when my time for menstrual symptoms come I still feel very overwhelmed dizzy insomnia crying but with MamaZen it does help me understand and know that everything is only temporary and it will go away ! Thank you MamaZen for coming into my life I highly recommend this app I love it and will continue to use it probably forever :):)

Not free

This would of probably been one of the best things for me to resort to so easily as a stressed out mother and also pregnant. The fact that it’s made to help mothers yet charges you to even use it, blew me away. So many mothers are struggling and don’t have anyone or anything to resort to for a break, breather, alone time, to find themselves. Yet you see something that advertises free and it isn’t free at all; that you were so excited to try and hopeful for. It’s devastating that struggling moms with their mental health have to PAY to just get a dag on app that would of took 10-20mins to use, just for some kind of sanity to be a better mom. Shows how much mothers are valued and how much our mental health really matters when it comes to trying to be better for our kids. This app is a joke to me.

Hello, we actually priced the app at 5.75/mo because we value moms and their mental well-being. You can use hundreds of sessions per month for just 0.19 cents per day which is way less than a Starbucks coffee, but no one expects Starbucks to give away a free coffee... Also, for every paid membership, we donate a scholarship membership to a low-income single mother or family in need. Apps are expensive to build, maintain, and develop. We do NOT sell our subscribers information and/or bombard them with ads. We provide very high-quality sessions and already helped thousands of moms to raise their kids in calm and happy homes. Sessions like the ones we provide will cost you thousands of dollars anywhere else.

Charged me for free trial

Signed up for the 30 day free trial. As soon as I signed up I immediately went in and cancelled the subscription so I wasn’t charged. Looking at my credit charges the very next day, I was charged for the free trial month I signed up for the previous day.

If you are trying to use the free trial beware and check your statements. They start charging you immediately upon signing up and don’t actually give you the promised free trial for 30 days.

Upset

It is a great idea for an app and there is nothing more that I want to do except use this app. I have become anxious and short tempered over many aspects in my life recently. I am giving this app a three star rating because I adore the idea of this app. I would have given it five stars but I find it absolutely ridiculous that there is not a free version of this app. This irritates me because the developers of this app rave about the many benefits of this app and how it will help mothers and fathers on many levels. It is outlandish that the developers have somehow boxed this help into this crate that is only available for a monthly or yearly price. Hello! Motherhood has happened to many people across all different stages of monetary differences. I find it hardening to find an app with developers so kind and thoughtful and helpful only to realize, they only want to help if you give them money—and not only a one time offer, a yearly or monthly offer. This is what the world has come to—people who have figured out that society can be toyed with by the use of colorful language to entice them with the much deserved help they need only to strip every penny their victim has.

Unfortunately, good apps are very hard and complicated to develop and maintain, and the 24/7 work that we are putting into this app can't be done for free. The $5.75/mo. is the lowest we can charge and have the app available. No one expects Starbucks to give away free coffee and doctors don't give away free appointments. The results we are able to provide to families at $0.19 per day are beyond priceless. We hope you give it a try.

Don’t bother

Makes you go through all the sign up pages then tells you it’s £15 a month for 1 prerecorded ie not tailored video a week. I don’t want to have to go through a 7 minutes video when the whole reason I need this is because I have 4 young children and when their demands overwhelm me I want to work on being less snappy. That isn’t a moment in which I have 7 minutes to meditate.

Feeling satisfied

I was hesitant before, I didn’t know how this would help me because I didn’t know better and I didn’t want to buy, just wanted to try and delete it after trial, then suddenly I forgot and it get paid from my bank, I think it was meant to be for me, am so happy that I did install it, so far am satisfied with this app and makes me feel good. Believe me I didn’t know such thing existed, and before I forget am stay home mom, 5 under 4 with twins. After the sessions I feel that I took a nap. Who ever created it thank you.
