This update introduces a Background Sounds tool in the Tools tab, allowing you to play our high-quality, seamless sounds directly, without needing to configure a widget first. We've also now made several of the sounds free available to everyone to enjoy. These include Brown Noise, Waterfall, Forest at Dawn, and Beach Waves. Enjoy! Additionally, it improves the display of tools and editors on iPad.

This update adds sharing to the Mirror tool. When using the selfie view, tap the camera button to take a snapshot, then tap the share button to send it to a friend, post it to the group thread, or save it to your photo library. Like all Actions, Mirror can be launched from the Lock Screen, Control Center, or from a Home Screen Actions widget. This version of Widgetsmith also allows you to increase the number of items shown in the text-based Action widgets.

The enthusiastic reception of the new Action Widget in Widgetsmith 7 has been wonderful. To expand the aesthetic options for your Actions, we've added a new heart-shaped Icon Pack to the line-up to brighten any Home screen. This version of Widgetsmith includes several new themes to better match the vibrant colors of the new phones.

v7.0.1 fixes a small issue with widget rendering. Widgetsmith 7.0 includes new ways to use your widgets to perform useful Actions from your Home screen, Lock screen, and Control Center. Actions allow you to quickly launch an app, run a Shortcut, make a call, send a text, or play music. Action Widgets in Control Center and on the Lock screen can be customized with their own text and icons. When added to your Home screen, Action Widgets make it easy to change the look of your device. Select from a large library of built-in icons, choose one of Widgetsmith’s own Icon Packs, or import a pack of icons to fully customize the look and feel of your Home screen. The text-only Action Widget is perfect for creating an ultra-minimalistic aesthetic. Your widgets also now support the new Home screen tinting automatically.

The Countdown and Photo Countdown widgets have been overhauled. As always, you can manually select a date and time for the widget to count down to, but now you can also select an event from your calendar! You can now choose from multiple countdown styles. The widget can now display just the number of days until the selected event or use the traditional timer with both days and hours. Additionally, you can customize the On This Day widget to hide the date and year so your photos are unobstructed. This widget now accounts for more image types, ensuring more memories surface in the widget over time. Lastly, the Date & Time widget shows the correct date when the selected time zone is a day ahead or behind you.

This version of Widgetsmith includes new themes that are perfect for highlighting the four-legged friends in your life! Choose from patterns for cats, dogs, and horses. This artwork makes for both great backgrounds and borders! In addition to this new artwork, Widgetsmith 6.3 delivers four new fonts for dialing in the perfect look for your widgets. The Background Sounds widgets are now also available on the ​​Lock Screen.

Widgetsmith 6.2 brings a brand-new widget type: Background Sounds! Beyond the standard White and Brown Noises, this release includes sounds from nature, including various intensities of rain, forest sounds for both daytime and nighttime, and waves at the beach. These sounds are high quality and uncompressed, creating seamless loops for a rich soundscape. Create an immersive ambience right from your home screen. The sounds can be played right from your home screen and combined with a photograph to set the scene perfectly. Premium users get access to the entire collection of sounds, as well as custom controls. These include a Sleep Timer and the ability to mix Background Sounds with other audio playing on the device. This release also includes several bug fixes for a few small issues related to widgets displaying the weather, sunrise/set information, and more.

- Building on the popularity of the new interactive music widgets, I've added a new style which showcases your album artwork at full size. - I've also added an option to always play albums in order when playing music collections. This is great for when you have a collection of both playlists and albums. You can shuffle the playlists, but keep the albums in order.
