Paid 250.00 NOT WORK on iMac M1

One question Creative….How do I get this app to function on my M1 Mac after THREE YEARS? Run away if you want reliable Mac M1 performance with a flagship Creative device on an M1 Mac.

Really useless

So I buy a 70$ speaker and I don’t even get an app control??

Paid 250.00 NOT WORK on iMac M1

Works great on my windows 11 pc….but the M1 Mac usb dongle won’t even reckognize it. Gosh…really Creative?

Not connecting the device

One of the worst apps I’ve tried. My Creative headphone/s connected as a Bluetooth headset on my iPhone, but the Creative app doesn’t recognize or show the headphone/s.

I installed all the Creative apps from the App Store, but none of them are working as they should.
Is there any possible I could give zero star ?

Works great for my PC speakers!!

Bought a pair of Creative Pebble X desktop speakers for my laptop docking station. The app is very minimal but it found the speakers right away and lets me control the LED lights very easily. Of course, the rest is controlled by the computer but this is very easy to use for desktop speakers.

Not pairing

iPhone 15promax app. Trying to pair with my sxfi air gamer. No go. What’s wrong with your products????

No support in app for device and ANC is horrible

I received a pair of corporate headphones mainly because the person they were intended for couldn’t get them to work (it was a common story across the company chatting to other colleagues). The two ear pieces were showing up as independent devices but the app had no information on how to fix this. There was no Google results for this. So they sat for months unused until I thought I’d try the master reset one last time before throwing them in the dead products drawer and for some reason this time it worked. Shouldn’t the app have something for this? It could see two devices and knows only one is connected so it should prompt you how to fix it. Then finally tried the apparent noise cancelling and it was horrible, hurts my ears as the high frequency dives around and it fails to make a decent difference no matter the setting in the app to the surrounding noise. Then the sloppy programmers play the “ANC” and “ANC off” noise at full volume, painfully louder than the content. The product support link sends you to a driver page with no links to the device help. The website is sends you to whatever country you’re physically in, ignoring that the app and device you’re using is in another language. There were barriers all the way. Really there’s no point in this app if it makes the product experience worse. It’s really emphasised that Creative products = sub par

Good but could be better!

This app do the basic job of configutring my SoundBlaster X4 but the windows version does more.... I want to use my X4 sound card with full potentional on my Mac! so please continue to develop this app! Thanks!

Pairs, updates, EQ all worked great!

I dont see how others are having issues with this app. i find it completely functional and super helpful. I LOVE all the EQ options and low latency mode!! Love my creative Zen 2 headphones even more now!!!

Please keep it up devs!! The updates are appreciated and add so much value to your already fantastic hardware

Does not work

I have a SoundblasterX GC7 - Developer Team Heads up!!!

Users in general stay away from this until it works.

- The equalizer does not work in real-time. It takes many seconds... more than 5 to take effect. Boom 3D and Music Equalizer are top notch.

- Output sometimes goes to the wrong device. For instance when Sound Blaster GCS Speakers USB is selected, it can go to the headphones port in the front instead. If I switch back to Sound Blaster GC7 Headset, it goes silent.

- Custom buttons only work while Creative App is open.

- Virtualization engine for the headphones sometimes works. When I select 5.1 or 7.2 it sometimes selects these, and sometimes it goes back to the Stereo option.

- The list goes on.

I've used Sound Blaster Products in the early 90s. This was a nasty surprise after comming back to it more than 30 years later.
