Good luck
Mac users are probably a very small proportion of Creative's user base - and this app won't do anything to change that. It downloads, isntalls and... nothing. It can't detect my Creative product (the X1 USB sound card). Without it the whole reason I bought the X1 (to try spatial audio) is defunct. The SXFI app is equally useless. Maybe it worked under a previous iteration of OSX but if you're using Ventura I wouldn't bother.

A Broken App From Abandonment
This app doesn’t work. It doesn’t find or pair to your brand-new Creative Zen headphones. Nor does the app have the ability to create a profile for use (must visit their website for completion). It seems that the company stopped payment to the app developers or something - ???
Just pair the headphones through your device’s Bluetooth settings, then use the physical buttons present on the device.
Shameful.

Bluetooth
Installed software fine and it detected the katana v2 but as soon as the app is minimised or I switch to another app the phone looses connection to speaker via Bluetooth
Very limited use
Only useful for earbuds and sound bars(?). Why wouldn’t they include all speaker products that have a Bluetooth feature?
Garbage
Doesnt see Outlier Air v3 headphones on Mac.
For some reason Creative thinks their customers only use headphones with mobile devices.

Can't detect X4
Windows 10/11 works fine app but on macOS it does not detect my X4 at all.
Hopeless
I can’t even get into the app as I have to sign up and agree to terms and conditions. The problem is that on my iPhone XS one of the check boxes is hidden under the Proceed button and you can’t scroll up to check it, so I’m stuck.
poor legacy support
creative launched the X4, nearly impreceptible chagnes or improvements unless you put the specs in a table and yet the m1 mac app support they launched ~2 years after the m1 macs are on the market support the x4 but not the near identical x3.
seems like forced obsolesence

Soundblaster X4
The product is terrible and full of bugs. The app is slow, clunky and crashes. I thought I would give Creative another go after years of staying away due to rubbish hardware. Seems nothing has changed. I’ve sold the hardware and happy to have removed the app.
