MN CDL
I’m using this app to prepare for my school bus permit exam. It has a lot of questions I won’t end up using in my professional world but the state of MN asks these questions on their exam nonetheless. What I really like about this app is that if you choose an incorrect answer, it goes into a teaching mode and then a learning mode and you walk away with knowledge you may not have had. Neat program!!!

STOP! DOWNLOAD THIS APP FOR CALIFORNIA CDL
I can only speak of the California CDL permit test… this is THE best app you can use. I tried another free app but it was very limited and didn’t have the same format. The way they repeat your wrong answers 2 more times before you can move on is very helpful. Repetition is key. They also repeat some of the questions from one section to to the next. They are all mixed up which makes it helpful. I took my written test today with my passenger endorsement and general knowledge and passed. There was only a couple questions that I didn’t come across in this app but all the other questions were exact and even written word for word. I answered very fast because I recognized the questions before I even finished reading it. I used the free app and there are ads, and they are annoying, but it’s a free app so stop complaining. The ads only pop up when you have either closed out the app and restarted the questions or between exercises. If you don’t like the loud ads, turn down the volume on your phone. Great job and making a useful and accurate study guide. My hat off to you. 🧢 Thank you.

So far, so good
I started using this app about 2 weeks ago at the recommendation of my CDL instructor. I’m preparing to get my CLP before class and so far I have passed Air Brakes (90%) and Combination Vehicle (100%) and Doubles/Triples (100%). My method has been to read through the state manual for the specific section once, do all practice sections in the app, read through the manual once more, than take a practice exams in the app. Upon scoring above 90%, I go to the DMV and take the knowledge test for the subject I’ve been studying. At least for my state, the questions have accurately represented the test from the DMV.

Passed all exams on first try
I’m working on my Class B to drive busses. I needed to pass the general knowledge, passenger, and air brakes exams. I read the CDL handbook once. I then used the app and went through all the levels for each exam. I found the explanations (taken right out of the handbook) given when I got a question wrong extremely helpful.
I literally took one day to read the handbook; one day to complete all levels for the three exams in the app; and then passed all three exams on my first try on day 3.

Best app CDL app to practice before permit hands down
There is no other CDL prep test to download but this one. It’s spot on at least for the Pennsylvania one never snooped around other states exactly how is on the actual test is how it’s on here maybe a few words moved around other that it’s spot on. I never studied the manual nothing just kept testing myself over am over hundreds of times before I took my permit test passed all three in one shot went to school got my CDL. This is free compared to others you have to pay for an aren’t even real questions on the real test.

Unnecessary prep questions. Find something more concise
I came back to this app because it helped me several years ago with obtaining my license and endorsements. As an example, I have to renew my license and will need to retest for HazMat. The Ohio hazmat written test is 20 questions. The HazMat prep on this app is over 240 questions. Way too many to study for a simple test. It’s just a load of unnecessary questions with additional information you’ll never need so they can get you watch more ads. This app is not a realistic study guide anymore.

Great study mechanism
I’ve been using this to get an idea of what’s to coke for the learners permit and it’s helped me think of questions to ask the instructor, as well as help my know what I need to study more of and what I already know enough of.
The ads are not overwhelming and it’s totally worth the one or two you see for a free application.
Definitely a thumbs up.

DMV Flying colors ( read) different questions
This app is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL, I went on the app without having much context of the specifics but I’m telling you if you gain the context from the app reading the DMV CDL manual will be a breeze, which I highly recommend reading thoroughly as some of the questions on the written tests are everywhere on the dmv’s manual, ALSO, the general knowledge is 50 questions, there will be some questions that will throw you off guard and you’ve probably never seen before but it’s okay, if you don’t pass the test the first time, BE SURE TO MEMORIZE THE ONES YOU MISSED, and you will get the hang off it, from my experience there are 4 total tests, air brake, general knowledge, combination, and DL RENEWAL, yes you do have to take the written test again for class C When you at the DMV and they say you have to pass the ENDORSEMENT, part of the tests, that’s not true to get your permit, the co worker asked and said I was okay, I walked content out of the dmv, good luck, study and you’ll be one step closer

I don’t understand it had 18 levels now it has 27 made the mistake of deleting app an when I downloaded again it had 27 levels now the questions that were in there before that were easy an made since are no longer has info that’s not even in test
CDL prep test
I downloaded this app and used it exclusively to study for the CDL-A theory test. I studied for several weeks, took the exam and finished and passed with a high score in less than 20 minutes. The questions in this material are structured very similar to those on the state test, which allowed me to zip through the exam. I would highly recommend this app if you are planning to get your CDL.
