  • Inspiring for my 4 year old

My 4 year old daughter played through this game with me over the course of a couple weeks. She was immersed in the story, developed a love for identifying animals (she wants to start her own journal of animals she finds in real life), and learned to navigate the entire island by herself utilizing the map and identifying landmarks.

While I enjoyed seeing how much she was learning, she had a blast, enthusiastically asking to play it everyday.

After finishing the story she was determined to complete all the remaining tasks. We just found our last animal, the Peregrine Falcon, that had eluded us the whole game.

Some of her highlights from the game:
    - Helping heal the animals with the first aid kit.
    - Finding the dog and taking it on walks
    - Finding shortcuts, like the one in the backyard to get to the castle faster.
    - Seeing the sunset

    She had the following requests:
    - “I really want to go into some of the buildings!”
    - “I want to find more animals, like crabs and flamingos!”
    - “I wanted to go to a playground”
    - “I wanted a mountain with snow” (maybe different types of weather)

  • a really good game

This game was really good, it was so relaxing and it filled up some spare time I had. It didn’t take too long but it wasn’t too short, it had an amazing animation and there was no glitching at all. The characters were great and there isn’t much to improve on however if there was something to improve on I would say that when you are running you aren’t able to move the camera around and vise versa. Apart from that it was really good. Thank you!

  • Too short

This game is a wonderful game I recommend it for all ages though it’s really short I’m up to Thursday and it’s nearly finished because I’ve played Sasquatch from Apple Arcade compared to that it’s very short but if u like it I say u should play Oceanhorn 2 overall this game is very short but very fun 🤩

  • Adorable

Great little game. I’ll get the only negative out of the way right off the bat: it’s short, like only a few hours to complete the main quest. Thus I would love to see another island added to explore further. As someone who lives on a lake I’ve seen and heard many of these birds before, even their behaviors in game are accurate to the real world - bravo.

Good graphics, fantastic sounds and smooth game play controls. It’s truly a pleasure to play with no stress in a relaxing open world. The game is low key - explore at your own speed, nothing is forced or rushed. It’s really about walking around and experiencing your surroundings. Observing nature and noticing small things (like finding the gecko). It’s a VR version of Seek where you capture photos of various wildlife, mostly birds. Unlike most games in which the difficulty ramps up this game gets easier as you complete tasks restoring the environment by cleaning up trash, saving animals and fixing things in an eco-friendly way. Excellent game to teach kids about the joys of the natural world. Colorful town full of friendly people and simple message bubble exchanges. The use of an in-game smart phone for photo tasks and messages is a clever way of moving the plot forward.

Just super cute and very enjoyable. Well done by the developers! Hopefully they make a second island to explore.

  • So cute! But too short...

    MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

I finished all of it in one day. Alba and Ines are so adorable!!!! I love the idea and it’s awesome!!!! But maybe another update or... at least more birds or something... I want to play at Albas house too (not just her abuela and abuelo’s house 😉) or go forward until she goes again. Also I want to be able to go into buildings and scan flowers. Also maybe do other things on the phone🤔(more specifically I want to respond to texts) I dunno 🤷‍♀️. Just make it longer I guess. I love Ines and I want more people in there agency. AIWER is it? I don’t know! LOVE THIS GAME 👍👍👍

  • PLEASE READ!!

This is an amazing game. The only thing is that I finished it so fast. I want to see what this game can bring. Here is an idea
You can make it so we can choose who we want to be so that everyone in town you get to be and get to do adventure with them! Do you understand? So you get to be everyone and they have adventures with them not just the Alba. Thank you. Get back to me on this😉please

  • short n sweet

super cute and intuitive. good message, charming characters, beautiful open world. wish relationships with animals and people were more interactive.
  • Beautifully made

This game was so fun to play. It is a laid back chill game and defiantly the kind of game you would like your kids to play. It has tasks and challenges which are super easy to complete. It teaches good values in caring for the environment and protecting the animals. It is a fun and engaging game that you learn from. The graphics are beautifully made and bright and colourful. Makes you feel like you are actually there.

Only problems I found with the game is it makes my phone super hot, to the point I have to stop playing as my phone is to hot to hold.

The other thing is it’s a short game and doesn’t take long to get everything done on it. I wanted to keep playing and I’m disappointed it’s ended and there is nothing else you can do.

All in all though brilliant game highly recommend to people of any age.

I hope there is more to come for this game.

  • captivating

This beautifully captures the joys of managed civic wildlife affinity through a child’s eyes, with well-observed details at virtually every turn. The controls are needlessly gimmicky on default settings and pose a real impediment to the experience, especially lack of landscape on iPad and the choice to make gyroscopic controls ignore the starting orientation of the device. In spite of all that, the beauty of the experience shines through and I found myself getting a little choked-up toward the end.

I don’t understand why there’s no photo mode. Hopefully they add that. All there is, is a handful of lookout points where the UI disappears except even then a pesky “X” in the upper-right _always_ stays visible (couldn’t you hide it behind a tap?).

This game is the stuff Apple Arcade subscriptions are made of. Please, Apple, don’t change your emphasis away from gems like this in favor of more “monetization” and “engagement”. This game is exactly what someone would pay a premium subscription for to get exclusive content of this caliber, even if replayability may be limited (in fact, it’s such a lovely place to be that simply booting it up and spending time in it could actually be the type of “engagement” that gets players coming back, _without_ distorting the creative of the project!).

  • Phone Flip

The game is amazing and fun and the best game ever!
But I stopped playing it because the phone in game’s camera flipped upside down. I tried deleting and re installing the game but it didn’t work. Please fix something about the phone camera flip because I’ve seen a review with the same problem =( This is such a good game that I have no other issues with! Only the phone flip.

PS: This game is the most entertaining game ever!

    From: The Unknown Jelly =P

PPS: I love how the moral of this wildlife adventure is to care and try to save the planet. Also my little thing to say is that if you do little things to help earth, it can become a big thing.

PPPS: I changed star rating because the developers are also so so nice C:
