Best version of Radioplayer so far
Maybe surprising for our Western ears Russian music radio is incredibly diverse, modern and fresh. Their independent apps and streams on other radio apps however… not so much.
This is great way to listen to these stations - I especially love the frequency feature which lets you “scan” the available stations in a city or region like on a radio. I also like that when you change regions mid-stream that it changes to that locale’s version of a station, if available, automatically. You can just leave it on Russia which seems to give you the Moscow-stream for national stations and loses the frequency feature. Also works great with CarPlay. A fantastic way to listen to and discover stations like EUROPA PLUS, DFM and Radio Record.
Obviously intended for the Russian market, so as of writing this deciphering Cyrillic is a must (the app is fully in English, but names of stations and regions are not) and for the search to work you must use a Russian keyboard. Would be great if in the future the Latin alphabet names of the stations where recognized as well.
