Streamlined and effective! Brilliant customer service
I really recommend this app. I was looking for a simple way to create reports of my mileage and expenses for my freelance work where I could manually enter the mileage as I didn’t want to be running a background mile tracker all the time using up my phone battery. I also wanted to be able to scan receipts easily and put both of these things in customised reports which would aggregate all the data. This app does all this and is perfect for me. It’s really easy to create trips by just putting in the start and end locations which populate automatically, like a satnav, when you start putting in the address. It is possible to customise the mileage per mile allowance so that it corresponds with your tax area. I looked at so many apps before this, but they provided so much more than what I needed and thus were needlessly complicated and expensive. I’d almost given up when I found easy expense. The app does do more than the above, but I wanted streamlined and it allows you to use it in that way if you want. Their support is brilliant. I haven’t used an app like this before and they were very helpful in coaching me on how to create individual reports, so I could get the data monthly that I need. I really like the app a lot and it has considerably simplified my preparation for tax return.

Best expense tracking software
I have tried many expense software packages, that have failed in my estimation. Easy Expense provides the following features that others do not
-unlimited transactions
-ability to notate trx
-saved Vendors
-easy export of trx to csv files
-tax tracking
A couple things I would love to see added to this product:
-able to save expense categories to vendors, so you dont need to select the type of transaction every time
-read the credit card extension, instead of having to select it each time
-process returns, credit notes, etc

The app you need
I’ve checked plenty of apps where I just wanted to learn about my finances and where they were going. Not only is the AI scanning of receipts pretty good but the app is very user friendly. It’s the one I’ve liked the most even amongst other paid apps.
Not any better than free alternatives
You would think a receipt scanner could stitch multiple pictures together to get the full receipt in frame, because you know, they’re receipts. It also forces you to make an account. Also if you start the free trial, you better cancel it immediately and avoid a $75 dollar charge. Take the free trial cancel it and figure out the app is worthless without paying $75.

Love this App
Very user-friendly.
So frustrating
So frustrating that this app is programmed to when you click on the dashboard tab, it takes you to settings because it wants you to turn on your location. I have clicked that I want to log trips manually and that I don’t want to share my location and it keeps asking. A little suspicious to me. Could probably give at least four stars otherwise.

This app is great!!!
This app has been so helpful with my small business. In the past, come tax season, I would go through my paper receipts that I saved (most I just threw out because I couldn’t bother keeping them and would lose them), and I would rummage through my emails and bank transactions by memory, which would take me weeks and felt so stressful. I thought I’d stay organized throughout the year but life would catch up and organization would fall Through. But this app has made my expense tracking so much easier, and kind of fun jn a way. I’m kind of excited to add my expenses into the app immediately because I know it’s saving me money.

No tax fields
Basically easy using but still no two taxes fields and tips for each receipt.

Fix the app
I love this app last year used it to keep track of expenses. I use to add the receipt and add a photo to attach to receipt of what I bought, but now I try to do that and it zooms in on the picture trying to find the smallest print to add instead of the original photo. So frustrating I’ll have to find another app now.

U able to get into actual app
I signed up with trial but that’s as far as the app would let me go and kept asking for payment. Not happy with this one.
