95% deaf without hearing aids and I can now converse with fam and friends!
I am a long time user of relay calls for the deaf via sprint and then T-Mobile. The only problem was I had to use my desktop and who wants to sit at a desktop waiting for calls to come in? Not me! For a while the sprint relay app would let you dictate what you wanted to say, but then they got rid of that feature, forcing us to type in what we wanted to say. Many times people (of course the people I didn't know, not my friends) would hang up on me because I took too long to type!
Olelo cleared up all the issues and I can now SPEAK to the person I want to communicate with and I can READ what they are saying! It's miraculous! 100% accurate and very fast in real time transcribing to me what is being said. I love this app! It's a game changer and a life changer
For anyone who is hearing impaired or deaf, this is the app to use! I'd give it 10 stars if there were 10. Thank you very much to the developers of Olelo and congratulations on being acquired (or partnered with) by Sorensen!

Captions Call Is FANTASTIC
I really enjoy using this app because now I can read everything the other person says and for me that’s wonderful, being deaf has made me so unhappy, I thought my whole world had changed, now that I have this app my whole life has changed for the better and I really appreciate everything about this app.

It works like a champ !!!
Wow !!! It works like a champ !! Olelo allows me to forward all my call to my original phone number instead of using Olelo's phone. It also automatically saves my transcripts and makes my life so much easy to look up all my calls with transcripts. I wish that I have known this a long time ago !!! What more? This App is free and has no advertisements !!! I think that the US Government pays for it. I dunno. 🤷♂️

Great app
It’s very good at getting the words right. Hard to find anything like that at all these days. One downside, even though it is also a compliment, is that if someone next to you is a loud speaker their voice will also appear on your screen captioning. But that is to be expected. Other than that, I truly have no complaints about them.

This is an awesome tool buddy who has closed caption on their house phone so now I'm just on my cell wonderful. Very easy to set up. Make sure you do the call forwarding so in the unknown calls automatically you have closed caption. Thank you so much.

Significant improvement over its predecessor Caption Call
Both sides of a conversation, caller and called, are shown; and accuracy of sound to word is quite good.
Also, when making an Olelo call, you have the option to leave your recognized cell phone number as callerID, rather than the Olelo number. Couple this with a call forwarding option to your Olelo number will ensure that calls made to your cell phone number will go to Olelo.
No need to make a new phone book; Olelo uses your phones contact list.

Awesome but if you are expecting a important call not full reliable
Really accurate app , very helpful. The down side is sometimes skips calls or some calls shown as anonymous even are real people on my contacts calling me .

Great Captioning App
I tried several call captioning apps and find them useless and unreliable. I continued searching and Olelo was the best fit for me. It gaves me the ability to hear what is being said as well as read a transcript of the conversation. I find the captions to be pretty accurate using the app and the best part is I could view the transcript of the previous call that was made. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing.

So far so good.
I like the app. Seems to work well. I love that I can 3 way call if needed. There is one small issue. When I’m using the speaker for calls, the screen keeps wanting to turn off. Needs to stay on so I don’t have to constantly tap the screen to make sure it stays awake.

Olelo is Incredible
Olelo is actually more accurate than CaptionCall on my landline. I wish Olelo was available for landline use. The added benefit is that my part of the conversation is there as well. For me, seriously hearing-impaired & potentially facing a cochlear implant, Olelo has been majorly helpful. I am so grateful for this technology, which helps me feel less isolated & depressed. Before Olelo, using either the CaptionCall on the landline or Olelo on my iPhone, telephone conversations were very difficult & I had to resort to text messaging. Thank you so much,
