Oleleo service
Terrible service logged out can’t get back on for no reason
To the developers
Thank you thank you thank you this app is so much better than Ava, I love that it keeps the transcription from your car is automatically I do not know how to make the calls go directly to this app but that’s OK I think what I’m trying to say call forwarding to this app when I’m on the phone. But overall thank you very much I love this app, very minimum and I do mean very minimum errors. If I could give you more stars I would.

Love it!
I just wanted to say thank you for the help (yes, I am still an idiot for not seeing the olelo button on the phone call screen and thank you for not making me feel bad about that, lol). This olelo app has helped my brother and I, for the first time in our lives, answer a phone call without having to go and connect to a relay service and without having to have internet connection. I answered a phone call from a doctor’s office for my job, and it felt wonderful to be able to answer it as a hearing person would. We are so excited to be able to just take a call anywhere now. No more hanging around the house all day waiting for an expected phone call, no more having to find someone to help us deal with phone calls over cell service. It’s not perfect but it works a lot better than anything we have used previously.

I love this app!
OleloPhone is a game changer for me. I used to be afraid to make phone calls due to great difficulty understanding what was being spoken on the phone and having had some serious consequences of misunderstanding. I appreciate that spoken conversation is transcribed pretty accurately and very quickly. I’ve actually initiated phone calls recently instead of asking a family member to make all my calls. Thank you, OleloPhone!

Olelo
I got olelo for the thanscribing or as some call captions for my iPhone. I am bilateral cochlear implanted and this app is very helpful for people who are very hard of hearing , have hearing aids but need a little help or for cochlear implanted deaf as myself. It’s very easy to use and set up, and is fairly accurate, not a 100% but so much better than some I have tried. I think it’s a voice recognition system and I have found it more accurate than an person interpretation. Get the app - it works

Horrible
Downloaded and deleted multiple times. I can call but no one can hear me on any call
Blessing for Hard of hearing or deaf people..
This app is truly helpful to all those who have hard time on calls.. it simply converts every Vioice sentence into text message in real time.. make sure you are in good data connection zone or wifi zone to work this flawlessly ..
Life Changer!
This app is so helpful and extremely accurate. Getting my calls transcribed in real time with no one on the other end listening and having to transcribe them is so helpful and gives me a lot of peace of mind. I appreciate my privacy and find this service really useful considering it’s free. It was also really great that I didn’t have to change my number with the call forwarding feature. All in all this is a really great app and I’m quite happy with it.

AMAZING app!
This app has been a life saver for me. Being hard of hearing phone calls have been VERY difficult as of late. This app makes it very easy because you can make/receive phone calls at any time (this is huge because some of the other captioning apps require for you to use wifi in order to even place a call, so that is inconvenient when you are on the go or get an unplanned phone call).
Another amazing feature is that you can set up “call forwarding” so when someone calls your “regular” cellphone number (or even your landline if you prefer) it will get sent to the Olelo app to be captioned. On top of this you can set up “call masking” that shows your “regular” cellphone number when you are making an outbound call. So whoever you are calling knows who it is. This is fantastic because you don’t need to give all of your contacts a new number in order to have a phone conversation with them that will be captioned.
Another thing I want to point out is the captioning AI is extremely fast and accurate (much faster and more accurate than some of the other captioning apps that use human real time Captioners) which is great from a privacy standpoint as well and not needing to delay when you are having a conversation.
Lastly, I want to applaud how amazing the captioning AI truly is, I try to regularly call my grandmother who is Vietnamese and has a very thick accent. I was amazed and shocked at how well the captioning was able to understand her when I could not all around fantastic captioning app and fantastic customer service.
A few cons that I already brought up to the very attentive customer service team are as follows:
1. There is no Voicemail icon in the app, you have to dial *97 to call your voicemail.
2. When you use the key pad (to press a number during the phone call i.e. press zero to talk to an operator the key pad takes up the entire screen so you cannot see the captions.
Other than these hiccups they informed me they are working to correct this is hands down my favorite call captioning app on the market and it’s 100% completely free (everything is paid for my the FCC).
