Inexplicably removed from the beta test programme

For some reason I am no longer able to access the app because I no longer enrolled in the beta programme for some reason?

Response from developer

You can now access Lists iOS app using your personal Microsoft account or enterprise account. Please update or re-install the app and give it a try. Let us know what you think by rating the app from the App Store.

App doesn’t work

I would love to work across platforms to check and update my lists and lists my team shares with me, but can only seem to review on desktop only. I’ve tried the app several times, several days apart on both my phone and iPad and I only get the “Something went wrong. Please try again later” message every time I try. Pointless download.

Lookup columns not supported :-(

Some good features, especially the radio buttons for the selection of multiple selection choice fields. But why are lookup columns not currently supported? I see a similar question was asked 1yr ago. Do you have an update on this please?

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of this ask and we are looking into it. We will update when there is more information to share.

2023 review - Pretty much useless on iPhone

An iPhone is the perfect handheld device to quickly update list items on the move.

We use lists internally to track customers, deliverables, and internal communications.

Microsoft have completely missed the point with this app. It would’ve been superb to re-define the look and feel / layout of a list to match the iPhone’s form factor.

Lists look ridiculous on the iPhone, they require you to scroll sideways to see more than one or two fields, styling is not supported, comments don’t seem to be available, text in each field is truncated, and if you use automations, then you can forget it!

Think, if you can, about one of the top selling productivity apps for iPhone. Eg to-do apps like Things or Omnifocus, or even Microsoft’s own ToDo app. They’re easy to use and allow you to see a lot of information on the screen at any time.

Also, no review of Microsoft technology is complete without noting the ridiculously bland and most useless comments from Microsoft employees, this reviews section is no exception!

The only reason I gave it two stars was because the basic Microsoft functionality such as switching accounts is supported. Apart from that… huge missed opportunity.

Sign in credential not recognized

I love Microsoft solutions but an super disappointed we can not get Lists to work mobile for us :(

It will not recognize our sign in and gives us constant error messages

I would love to resolve this but have found not other option. I have installed, unisltalled, emptied cache… nothing and have tried everything on the internet.

Thank you for the feedback. Are you using your personal email address to login into the app? If yes, we are working on this feature and would keep you updated on the release.

Bad

Often crasher. Inconsistent design.

Mobile Needs some kind of Kanban

On lists desktop, you can do board view a do a kanban but not on the mobile app. We need this ability or just combine planner with microsoft lists as one app. Lists ans Kanban view should be hand and hand and work with mobile. i should be easily able to drag from one column to the next to change the choice field; quick and easy.

Looking for a procedural checklist — this ain’t it

Was looking more for something along the lines of a repeatable checklist for performing a set of procedures everything month - a series of checks and some updates… This doesn’t really seem to fill the need. Can’t quite figure out what this app would be good for - its pretty thought and that’s not nothing.

Cannot accept digits

The app cannot accept digits when typing currencies. On web works no problem.
