  • Skip the app! Use the drive through

I downloaded the app several months ago but it has never actually worked for me to be able to use it. Finally today it decided to work. I ordered ahead and sat in the spot for 20 minutes, kept the app open like it said to do. Then finally called to check if I did everything right. My order never showed up on the store side. So they manually had to put it in. Then I waited another 20 minutes to get the food. It would have taken like 5 minutes to do the drive through but I thought the app would just make everything easier. Nope.

  • Can’t complete order

I don’t see how this app has such high ratings. I can’t complete the billing process. Credit card info already saved from a previous order, Apple Pay, or PayPal doesn’t work either. Will get a different error message but after the disco ball, it doesn’t even just show the error. You need to scroll to the very top. Next the error says they have high volume and the next available window is 3:30pm. It is 2:30pm but I picked 6pm for pickup. Changed to 3:30 pickup, first says, you can’t edit that. Start the process over, pick 3:30…same error message. Not available. Closest time is 3:30 even though I picked 3:30. I am doing this at a new location so the demand is high but the app ordering is very bad. Selecting food and things is fine…just the completion process fails. I am fine even if they just say they are too busy for an online order. But this is an app issue…not a busy store issue. And the error message should be right there with actual corrective steps, I should not have to hunt for the error by scrolling. In addition, I can tell the error message is actually just an unhandled case not the actual error event.

  • Do not bother ordering curbside pick up.

I've tried ordering both from their website and the app with bad experiences both times. Got to the store after ordering online at the time specified to find that my order has not been started on yet.
Thought I'd give them another chance so I ordered through the app. Arrived at the store and hit the "I've arrived" button on the app, waited 15 minutes at the curbside pick up and nobody came to my car. Went inside the store to find the order was not ready and it would be another 10 minutes.

Better off waiting 30 minutes at the drive through, or go to Popeye's up the street.

  • New concept?

California finally got locations opened around town. I tried using the app to place my order since the nearest spot to me is 19 miles away and it just opened a few days ago. No drive thru and this is the first location they chose to go live first. Guess somehow made a lot of business sense. The app doesn’t work. I was able to pick any time slot for my food order. Customer Service wasn’t helpful at all. Called the store and they don’t do phone orders. The guy that answered suggested ordering an hour out. Still was not able to pick any time to order food. Apple Pay wasn’t working to pay for my food. Ordering food on an app isn’t a new concept but it wasn’t easy.

  • Excellent chicken, horrendous app

Every time I login to the app they make me change my password. Then I change it then none of the verification codes work. Who ever manages their back end needs to get it together because they have way too many security protocols and things that contradict the other. I appreciate the concern for my canes app but Jesus Christ why is it if any changes happen to the account the all breaks.

  • Best chicken/Not so great app

Everyone knows Cane’s chicken is some of the best out there. And the fries and sauce are amazing. But the app is horrible because I try to order ahead of time on the app and at least half the time it gives me an error no matter how many times I try. I log in online and it doesn’t work either. So it doesn’t necessarily have to do with the app, but their system.

  • The chicken is good; this app is garbage.

Cane’s makes great chicken, no doubt about it, but this review is about the app which has yet to work for me. I keep trying though, hoping it will be updated so that I could actually place an order. I want this to work as the lines at Cane’s drive through are terrible during meal times. Please make a better app. Cane’s is too good for this.

UPDATE: I stand corrected the latest update made it possible to login and place an order! Thanks!

  • Never able to log in

Being super excited to download this app I did. I created an account and tried to log in and it said the email and password provided didn’t match. I tried several times knowing my password was correct and it gave the same message. I waited assuming the app was down. After several hours I got the same error so I selected “forgot password”. When prompted, I used the old password and was given an errors message saying I could not use a previous password. I changed the password and tried to log in only to have the same exact issue. When this happened again, I tried to log in online and had the same issue. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I changed my password a third and a fourth time only to keep getting the same error message that my email address and password are not a match. There is no place on the website or in the app to go to customer service for assistance and the email sent to change your password is a DO NOT REPLY email address. I am so frustrated at this point after uninstalling and reinstalling twice, changing my password five times over a period of three days I have decided it is just not worth not.

  • Great chicken fingers!

Great food, even if Raising Cane’s has a menu limited to chicken fingers. And the chicken fingers are delicious! Tender & moist, the breading is just right for the most part. Our order came out quickly so the tenders were still hot. Nice! And the dipping sauce is a great complement to the strips. I dipped the fries in it & that was good too. The rest of the menu like the coleslaw was ok—coleslaw is coleslaw. Nothing to write hone about. I’m disappointed with the Texas toast as it was only toasted and buttered on one side. I remember Texas toast as toasted & buttered on both sides. And I heard their tea was great but I can’t comment on that as I got the unsweetened tea. And unsweetened tea is just unsweetened tea. Overall, I’m impressed with Raising Cane’s, and it’s just because of the chicken fingers! I’ll be back for sure, but maybe when the newness of a just-opened restaurant wears off and the lines aren’t so long.

  • Finally Raising Cane’s has an app!!

Super easy app! Love that I can now forget my card at home and simply scan! Only edit request I’d make is that when you click hone after ordering it makes you go back to searching the location rather than back to the menu of the location selected. Everything else is simple and functional.
