German numbers only?
Doesn’t seem to support foreign phone numbers, but also appears to be required to access the Lufthansa lounges used by… international travelers.

Hi, if you are using a foreign number, please make sure your phone is connected to a German WiFi during the registration process. We recommend entering your number as: "00 + country code + phone number". If you are having any problems, please get in touch with us via e-mail. Kind regards from Berlin

Many reviews are correct! This app id not for US visitors of Germany! When US number is provided confirmation message is not getting sent and app sits and waits. Developer needs to despise if this is global app if just works for DE numbers. I deleted the app!

Keep getting told 403 and also SMS can’t be sent…can’t get in anywhere, inconvenient

Great App that fills gaping hole left by inept RKI
Hey guys I just wanted to thank you for creating this app and adding the functionality to store you digital proof of immunization (Digitaler Impfnachweis).
I have been waiting on RKI to release their CoronaWarnApp and now the CovPass App in the US AppStore (largest App store in the world, ever heard of it RKI) for months. I wrote to them twice to beg them not to forget the portion of the population here in Germany that use the US AppStore (Americans and quite a lot of others). They hid behind some ridiculous excuse about personal data protection (DSGVO) bla bla bla. Now with this update you can tell them, “Es geht doch”.
More and more places are allowing check in via this app. So, if you live in, or travel to Germany, this App will be very useful for you and I recommend downloading it. I look forward to even more uses and functions yet to come.
