Hi, I must say I find your review quite unfair. As described in the store, Covve Export exports to csv, for opening with Excel or importing into most other systems (including outlook, google contacts, icloud contacts). However, if your specific use requires vcf please email us at support@covve.com to help you with a refund.Must Have

Able to export to file, sure. However there is no way to restore, making this rather pointless.
Edit: To answer the developer, it is true that there is no need for a solution to backup and restore to the same phone. What I was expecting was the ability to backup my contacts and restore to either a different phone, or to import into another AppleID, in the case of needing to combine the contacts of one AppleID with a second account. I also would have found it useful in adding my phone contacts to my iPad which is not using the same device restore chain as my phone. In any case, an export function is of very little usefulness without an import function.Show lessShane B

Hi Shane, where would you like to restore to? If its just a backup of your phone's contacts that you need (and then restore back to the phone) then Apple/Google/Outlook have excellent solutions for this. If you want to import them somewhere else (e.g. google contacts or a CRM for example) then you'd need to format the file (the headings) to match whatever system you want to import into. No frill apps. It does just export as csv. If you wants many options, etc… it might not be for you. But as simple and doing the job you cannot beat itandrelabbe
