1.4.1

December 14, 2020

This version fixes a bug where the chosen colour theme wasn't saved properly, causing it to reset to the default value.

This build adds two new widgets: a medium “overview” widget which shows you the number of upcoming events Eventually discovers, and a large “preview” widget showing you events for the upcoming week, month, and year without even needing to open the app. It also removes Facebook’s SDKs, meaning the app no longer stores or transmits any data about how the app is used.

October 17, 2020

v1.2.4 of Eventually adds analytics that will be used to measure how the app is used and improve ads used to promote the app.

1.2.3

October 1, 2020

v1.2.3 fixes a bug in widgets that would cause a delay in updates. Now, when you make a change to your Calendar, keywords, or ignored events, the widget should update right away. This release also includes some other minor improvements.

More

1.2.2

September 28, 2020

The app used to have a bug that allowed people to enter empty or whitespace-only custom keywords. This bug has been squashed as of v1.2.2. (No actual bugs were harmed.)

More

1.2.1

September 24, 2020

Version 1.2 of Eventually add the ability to hide individual events. Swipe right on an event to hide it from Eventually. For recurring events such as birthdays, all occurences will be hidden. This release also addresses some bugs: - On iPad, the "About" screen would not appear. This is now fixed. - Choosing calendars to show and hide should be a touch faster - Added support for In-App Purchases to be purchased from the App Store

Reviews of Eventually

Best app for calendar list

I would give this 5 stars until it stopped working. I loved this app to the point I purchased the upgrade and it’s given me loads of fun. I don’t know what’s wrong but now it won’t connect to the calendar or launch at all. I’ve tried contacting the developer but with no joy. I would really like to see this app working again

Not Bad. More Widget Sizes

Not bad for an initial released, more widget sizes (medium and large) so can be incorporated into Smart Stacks, and a dark mode would be nice.

Response from developer

Hi Mike! I don’t know if you’ve updated lately, but 1.4 includes two new widget sizes, each offering different functionality. Thanks for your review, and I hope this is a welcome improvement!

Clean, useful and focused

I enjoy using this app, its aesthetic is straight forward and it allows me to see important events at a glance. I would love to see more screenshots in the app store and it can be a bit slow when changing calendars. 🚀

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the feedback! I totally agree on both those points; more screenshots is a good call, and the calendar picker could use some speeding up. I’ll plan to work on those things for the next release!
