I am brand new to the app, but I see a lot of potential in this! The fact that right off the bat, they have a premium option is smart! This is the way to monetize and continue to do so without choking creators.

Hope this app sticks!

Would love to finally have a new social media to rival Instagram. Could this be it?

Definitely needs some bug fixes (like a back button on tsunamis) but it’s a beautiful interface and I look forward to using it every day!

Good social media app

Honestly been using waveful for a while and i love it I just wish there was more activity like Instagram or twitter ect but overall pretty good app

Needs further development

Overall I am enjoying using this app, it is a social media app and the social media part is great, the app part still needs some development. Just for context, I have an iphone 8 with the latest IOS (14.3). Issues are as follows:

1) the app crashes randomly, i can usually tell about 10 seconds before it happens because all my inputs become incredibly laggy, this app is new and I expect this to be fixed as the app ages.

2) when uploading/editing a post it would be great if you guys could add a “done” or “v” button to close the keyboard because it doesn’t allow me to scroll down to add categories to my posts because that is behind the keyboard so I can’t select it to add them.

3) add a feature to be able to send pictures in the messages.

4) add a feature to be able to send other people’s posts to people in messages.

Once a couple of these issues are fixed I will probably pay for the premium/ad free version just cuz i love the app so far, but it still needs work to get the 5 stars.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Since we started very recently some issues may be present, but we are working hard to make the app better and more efficient. And a feedback like yours really helps us find the right path. Now about your issues: In just a few days a new update will be released that will greatly reduce the number of crashes that you experienced and explained in the first issue. We added the suggestion you wrote in 2) to our to-do list, while the suggestion 4) it’s already in the to-do list and will be sure developed in the coming weeks. Also the third suggestion it’s another thing that we would like to make, but first we want to prioritize the “social media” part and not the “messaging” part, so that’s something that will be added later in future.
