I have been searching for an app that is super secure. I came across the Budget Hound founder's article where he described his approach to the app: no tracking of any kind of data. That was exactly what I needed! I started using this app, and it has now become my daily routine.

Helpful App
Great app if you’ve been managing your budget with excel before. The methodology is pretty much the same, but this is so much faster and easier to fill - right from my phone, whenever I spend another cent. It would be cool to have an automatic expense calculation from my bank - is this something planned for the future?

Good Functionality
I really like the range of categories and how easy it is to reflect back on my expenses. I didn’t know I spend sooo much on taxi rides. Time to walk more often and grow my daily steps (and $$$ saved) 😂
Simple and Well Defined
+ very easy to use, straightforward, takes less time than manual planning, more detailed than my bank app I am lacking a category for online shopping. I feel like this is the most compulsive and spontaneous category of my spendings and I’d love to get analytics on that too. My Amazon cart is always full with some stuff 😂😂

Good Features
It was hard for me to use the app at the start as I am a freelancer and I am rarely sure how much I’ll earn every month. But this was already a very important indicator that I need to get my projects on track and better plan client communications. Now I try to plan at least 4 projects per week and I know exactly how much cash I’ll get. Is there a weekly budgeting plan in the app? I think this might be a more convenient option for me.

Runs Smoothly
I’ve been using the free version for a while but felt like I was lacking some analytics there. I also manage several budgets at once, one personal and one of my family and it was important for me to have a clear division between them to get a transparent look on everything. Thanks to Budget Hound PRO I’ve divided two of my accounts and I now have access to an advanced analytics section. I am wondering - is there an opportunity to export those into a PDF or CSV file so that I can have the numbers on hand?

This app works smoothly
I really like Budget Hound for its simplicity - one screen, one button to add any upcoming expense, income or transfer, straightforward analytics system and more categories available, compared to my bank app. All the other apps I’ve been using are too complicated. I start tracking but always drop out in a couple of weeks as it just takes too much of my time to record everything. I hope I stick around with this one.
