What upgrade?

This app is pathetic. It is not an “upgrade” in any sense. Inefficient use of screen space, no search facility or sub-categories on payees list (I have over 100), abandonment of the previous EXCELLENT iPad app which provided a serious banking interface. Some design idiot was briefed to make the app look “modern” with no brief whatsoever regarding functionality. You are a bank, not a social media platform. Customers want accurate data quickly, no more, no less and MINIMUM scrolling.

Hi Sunbear 56, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you've experienced issues when trying to search for payees. We have discontinued the ability to create new payee groups/lists, however you should still be able to search by existing groups/lists. We hope that your experience of using our new app improves moving forward!

Disappointing

Sadly I cannot see any improvements.
Basic search functionality doesn’t work. For example, search transactions for ‘hmrc - paye/ni’ returns all transactions, yet search for ‘hmrc’ and you get all transactions with a payee reference of ‘hmrc - paye/ni’.
When searching for a specific payment by amount you have to enter a ‘-‘ before the amount.
When filtering transactions by entering an amount in the ‘From amount’ field, as soon as you enter the 2nd decimal the field is blanked erasing your input just made.
Did anybody test this app for such basic functionality as this? It certainly doesn’t leave you with much confidence as to it’s overall reliability.

Wealth overview has been lost from the home page, grouping of payees is now alpha and not grouped by folder, which was helpful, the reduced view of accounts, while good in theory, is not customisable and results in the wrong accounts being visible. Overall an exercise in prettification and not much additional functionality. The performance reporting on investments is long overdue. Migration to the new app worked well. Not sure the new interface is much improvement over the old one. Contact Coutts 24 from within the app is a good idea.
