  • I enjoy it!

It’s a fun little game. The rewards and bonuses are set to be achievable through gameplay alone. No ads, no pop ups, just a wonderfully cheesy storyline starring Simon, Cat, and a quirky neighborhood mystery. Each puzzle level you complete earns you stars, and you use stars to unlock the next step in the story. It also earns coins, and coins are used to buy extra turns or little helper items that can help you clear parts of your puzzle.
The puzzles are each different with different goals, but the basic premise is matching colored blocks to clear the board.

I’ve completed the storyline, have nearly filled up the bonus garden and still really enjoy just the puzzles.

    UPDATE:
This game takes longer to complete than War and Peace. After a few hundred levels, it's all tedium.

Baffling is how sometimes using an earned feature will clear the level and other times (under the same board conditions), nothing.

I just finished 500-plus levels, until the one labeled "The End?" The story at this point ends abruptly. Yet, there seems to be more levels. It's all a frustrating mystery.

And my advice is not to bother with the nomes. The reward for finding one is small and on some levels, no matter how hard you look (over every pixel on the screen), there is none.

I hope the long, months-long slog to the end of this game is near.
    =======

As others have reported, the game froze up entirely for days following the update of late last week. The game also entirely froze my computer without any way to exit the game without doing a hard shutdown of the entire computer.

The developers ask that we email them at the specific address they request we use. More than a few days after my email (and a follow-up) they have not responded

In their communications to others they provide a stock response about downloading the latest version from the App Store. There is no update indicated. Instead you have to uninstall and reinstall the game from scratch.

Not a good reflection on this developer in terms of customer care and retention.

  • Enjoyed every minute

This was a great game with a fun little story. It was challenging without being frustrating. The best part is you can play as much as you want and they never try to weasel you out of money to get past levels. Wish I found this before getting addicted to a similar butler game that cost me a small fortune while going crazy under quarantine. Those developers are the devil. I’ve never seen the animated show but will probably check it out now. This was something my kid and I both enjoyed together. It was a very kid friendly story line with the one exception being the surprising reaction from Simon when he bludgeoned Carl to death with a river rock. I still highly recommend this game for the whole family

  • A fun game for a change! Highly recommend

I finally found a game I love. I like to play this type of game but usually give up or I get bored. This has a cute and interesting storyline that makes you interested in the end which of course you continue on to do so. In all the games I’ve played, this is the first I actually stayed with long enough that I came to the end. I wrote asking you about it and you assured me there would be more in the future and you have just updated and added in the sketches and building the ideas he comes up with and so far I’m enjoying but hope there will be more. I want to thank you for something else too. You have scenes that are difficult and have to have a certain amount of money or what have you to pass if you can’t cypher or beat using strategy. Thankfully you didn’t build in that we couldn’t beat it if we tried enough. In other words you didn’t make it impossible to continue on for those who don’t have excess mad money to spend on games or have to be a computer expert. I thank you for that because I was there now and then. Other games were never fun or interesting enough for me to try so hard, so often for so long. Thanks. Keep up the good work and add more chapters or a new game using the same ideas. I highly recommend.

  • Can’t love this game enough.

Love, love this game. Whatever bug was affecting the game play at level 159 finally went away. Anyway, it’s your basic match game, but the storyline is one I actually pay attention to and want to see how the story ends for all of the characters. The graphics, the game play, are all well done. I love uncovering the garden and the sculpture garden. There is also a hidden gnome game, which some levels are really hard, and others fairly easy. The game play can be challenging on some levels, but there’s no lives to lose, so I can keep trying until I finally get it. I’m really happy I found this game, and that the developers reach out to work through any game play issues. Thank you for such a fun game!

  • Needs improving

It’s a fun game, for the first 3-4 days. It seems like it would be fun for younger kids too. But after that the game levels get WAY too hard! I shouldn’t need to pay for coins in a Apple Arcade game, that’s the whole point of having Apple Arcade, so you don’t have to pay for game upgrades to pay. But you make such a small amount of coins for each level you win, then you have to pay way more than you make to pass the hard levels. It seems rigged. It would be fun, if you earned more coins for passing a level so you could keep playing. And if the levels weren’t so insanely hard. If it’s hard for an adult to play, it definitely wouldn’t be fun for children, even tho it looks like it would be. It would also help to at least give the harder levels about twice as many moves as what they have now so you have any chance of trying to pass them.

  • I loved this game for a while

Ok it’s your standard matching game, nothing new there. It’s one with a story so you have a “reason” to be doing all of this, again nothing new there.
What I loved about this game was no ads due to the arcade subscription and no tying to force me to buy power ups or coins to move the game along.
What I didn’t like about the game is I played the top cat mini game by accident and now I can’t collect any prize and the game crashes….I can’t even play the actual levels because as soon as I open the game and go through the title and loading screens it closes out. Closing out my apps and restarting my phone didn’t help. So now I can’t play anymore :(

  • Best Game Of Its Genre! 10/10 Game

I was looking at the App Store seeing if I could find a new game. I love matching games where you renovate houses. The problem with most games is that it is filled with ads, has limited lives, and most of those games are designed to steal your money. Luckily, this game is nothing like that!

First of all it has a great story. It is very interesting and has a great plot. All of the characters in the storyline are great and are all unique. The matching gameplay is also great. Out of all the games like similar to this— this one is the best. Another great thing is the graphics. The amount of detail and time put into this game is insane. The music is great also! If you haven’t downloaded this game, do it right now.

This game still has flaws though (like every game). Although the levels get easier the more times you fail (which is a great feature) some of the levels further in the game are very annoying. Overall, the game is great and I hope to see more updates and bug fixes in the future!

  • 10 Stars!!

This is the first review I have ever written, but I’m compelled to do so because this game was A M A Z I N G. I have beat it now which upsets me but the graphics, the story, the game everything was great to me!!
First of all I love that you’re rebuilding a garden the whole time but every part is a new uh “theme” per say like almost each one has a new animal that lives there and there’s a section that has a beautiful stain glass as one of three decorating options. The levels are fairly challenging but nothing you can’t beat after a few try’s, it’s easy to earn stars and progress in the game.
I hope y’all plan to make more games with maybe one being just like this except decorating the inside of a house? Or business? Idk but I would definitely play it if it was similar to this game, that’s how much I loved it lol.

  • Addictive but needs to be rebalanced

Please add an option to allow unlimited moves. Many levels are unwinnable without a lucky combination of randomly triggered explosions. Where is the fun in that? It would be so much more satisfying to work through a level.

It would be also nice for the game to offer to let you skip the level (and get the star) after a certain number of retries of the level or in the case of unlimited moves a certain number of moves.

The three tools offered at the start of each level are usually worse than useless. Their random placement more often than not makes things worse. They should be moved next to the board with the shovel and rake and be selected as desired.

The story is a cute and the gameplay has a lot of potential but is currently making many players give up out of frustration. I’m at level 200 and don’t think I can enjoy playing much further right now.
