Watch your money

I downloaded this app with a Black Friday sale last year as it looked like a fun way to get some exercise. I tried doing it solo and with a friend and it was ok- found it not worth using again after the initial tries. My main issue is the fact that I routinely check my subscriptions to make sure I'm not paying for apps I don't want any more. Tuby never showed and I only realized when checking my bank account recently that I had a $48 charge for the app and I immediately tried to get my money back as I most certainly wouldn't have authorized a repeat purchase. As another reviewer said you have to email the company directly to cancel and are at their mercy through that method and I'm so grossed out they essentially say "sorry it's in the agreement we don't do refunds and it will automatically renew". Ok so you are knowingly banking on people not seeing your subscription through their phone subscriptions and taking their money without any reminder of an upcoming charge- seems predatory to me and bad customer service to not return people's money for an unused service. Clearly they are willing to sound like they will change given the featured review's response- but that was a year ago and they haven't changed a thing. Leaves a terrible taste in my mouth for this company and their procedures.

Does not offer a way to cancel

They do not offer anyway to cancel your subscription. Just an email address that they say on their website will then send instructions on how to cancel, but provides a warning that if you dispute anything they will take months to resolve the challenge.

The main problem is - no one ever replies to the email. Making it impossible to cancel and breaking consumer protection laws.

Waste of money

Absolute thieves. To cancel your subscription you have to actually email them, not just delete your account like a normal way of doing it. Very unclear instructions as to how to cancel so now I have another whole year to not use this app.

Scam

Charge your credit card 70$, impossible to get a refund and to cancel. They should be ashamed.

Wont cancel subscription

I have emailed twice to request cancellation of my subscription.
Still waiting and still being charged.
Seems like a scam when you can’t cancel yourself, and have to email them directly with no way to track your request.

They state they respond within 24 hours but I’m still waiting and emailing after following their instructions to the letter.

Not - great experience beware

Tried this over a year ago(2024) it wasn’t for me. Thought I had canceled the subscription and that was that. Was still charged for the year because I had not canceled in time. Fine. However yesterday I got an automatic renewal- apparently I missed I couldn’t just cancel the app subscription but also have to email in to cancel. I emailed support asking them to refund because they could see that was not my intention and could clearly tell I had not logged in in almost a year. The response was that I didn’t email them and they are going to keep my money. Literally worse than Walmart. I didn’t wait for a few weeks to inquire, I inquired immediately upon noticing the mistake. So beware , read the “fine print” make. Sure you do all the things or your money is gone.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

THIS IS A SCAM. You sign up for a free 28 day program but when you try to cancel, because in all honesty the app isn’t good at all, you can’t. You e-Mail them to cancel as that is “apparently” the only way to do this and they insist on you giving your order number which you have not been given. Then you think they have cancelled your account because you can no longer access the app…….that is until 3 months down the line with no warning at all you get charged. STAY CLEAR. I’ve e-mailed them but in all honesty I don’t expect a response all I can do is block any further charges and warn others to stay away. THEY HAVE ALSO CREATED A CHILDS VERSION- BE AWARE

Scam

This app charges you 70.00 + dollars and they make it impossible to cancel. I have emailed repeatedly and they keep charging my visa, this company should be ashamed of itself. My next step is fraud department of the police. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR GIVE THIS APP ANY CARD INFORMATION.

They have taken as of today $90+ out of my account and I never used the app. I did the free trial never used it and they have since kept charging me I emailed them in September to stop the charges. I don’t have an account with them closed everything and I’m still being charged please don’t do it. I don’t leave reviews and honestly wouldn’t have if they hadn’t charged me AGAIN for something I’m avidly not using. So now I’m going to go through my bank and get all my money back when I emailed them I was just not wanting to be charged again. This app is a fraud and any service that makes it impossible for you to cancel their service and having to get a new card so they can’t charge you again shouldn’t be allowed to be in the App Store.

Terrible experience

The app and the UX is not great. No opportunity to trial before buying BUT BEWARE they automatically sign you up to a recurring payment and don’t confirm this in an email or give you a warning before the FULL PRICE payment comes off. Customer service is non existent and don’t respond to emails. AVOID, much better fitness apps out there.
