Poor “installation guide”

You might want to get everything ready before starting your trip but it turns out this eSIM should only be activated when you are in your destination. You would think they’ll remind you of this since it’s IMPORTANT or at least I’ve seen similar comments here regarding this issue. But no, they don’t care, I know they’ll ask me to reach out to some email again if I got a reply to this comment here, like they do not have some sort of internal communication between app developing and customer service.

I apologize for the trouble. Just to clarify, eSIM data packages can be activated either right before you leave (so you connect to a local network upon arrival) or once you have arrived in your destination. We are currently making improvements to our instructions to hopefully be clearer. And whenever we leave the support@alosim.com email in a response, it’s because that team monitors our queue 24/7 so it guarantees a quick response. Again, thank you for reporting your experience. Costumer service

When I first bought the eSIM card from this company, it worked well initially. However, after the first card expired. I changed it again but didn’t work I contacted technical support, but they kept giving me the runaround before finally providing a temporary solution. After I topped up the card, it worked fine for a while, but then expired again after five days. I tried calling, emailing, and chatting with them, but they claimed they couldn’t find any purchase associated with my email, even though I used the same one. I even sent them a screenshot of my credit card statement, but they still denied it.

This has been the worst experience, especially when you’re far from home.”

It is easy to uses, great support and it works seamlessly with the associated “Hushed” cellphone line. You get free Hushed service when you buy AloSIMM data.

I did find it a little difficult to set up initially but once sorted it worked perfectly & so glad I started with 1gb as I only needed it for 1 day! Definitely use this going forward.

Only worked sometimes

The installation was difficult. Since you can’t activate until you arrive in your destination country (in my case the US), that’s when you’ll find out it doesn’t work. So my alosim eSIM didn’t work at all the first day (arrive, drive without gps!!!). Second day, got it to work with their chat support. But it failed perhaps due to losing cell signal somewhere for a short time. You have to return to somewhere with wifi to fix it. Overall it only worked fully 40% of my trip, and I had to drive around a big strange city without gps a lot.

Great value and great service

What an easy way to avoid ridiculous roam away from home charges by your Mobile provider. While it may not have celluar phone service it does allow you to connect to the likes of WhatsApp and Message, etc. where you can make calls.

Better yet the customer service is outstanding, easy instructions, and quick to respond.

Fantastic support and app

Ok - usually I’m pretty hard on app developers and their support teams because I can almost always find something wrong.
AloSim has set the bar extremely high for all consumer apps/tools. I travel allot, as do my family . We’ve downloaded and used AloSim for data connectivity and have had fantastic user experience. Installation seamless , works flawlessly. We have used for periods ranging from 1-2 days to multiple months (by topping off a Sim )
Like all tech tools that work across multiple carriers and multiple devices/versions, an occasional issue can crop up. When I’ve asked for support I’ve been contacted immediately, with the support team sticking with us to ensure the issue is solved. Sometimes it has been pilot error , they’ve cheerfully helped us. Once or twice there have been backbone issues in a carrier network, they have solved the issue and/or found a work around almost immediately.
I cannot say enough good things about this tool and company.
