- This update adds three new datasets that are great for slicing long, smoothly changing multi-timbral samples or external sources. Datasets are used to set specific parameter values when using a template. - Fixed an issue where files added from other apps were not saved in presets. - Fixed problem with starting playback in some DAWs (particularly GarageBand). - Updated description and fixed some minor bugs.

- BeatCutter can be used as an Instrument or Effects plugin in DAWs and hosts on iOS and macOS (AUv3). - Added a panel for quickly selecting a preset, which opens by double tap on the preset name area at the bottom of the screen. - Files recorded in standalone on iOS and macOS are available through the "App" - "Files" panel, and you can save them to any other directory. - In the MIDI control panel, double tap to cell resets the assigned control. - Added fullscreen mode when using the plugin with GarageBand (iOS). - Several minor bugs were fixed.

This update makes BeatCutter a truly universal iOS and macOS application. It can work on iPhone and iPad as well as Mac / MacBook with M1 chip (and later). On macOS the BeatCutter can works both as a standalone application and as an Audio unit with DAWs and audio unit hosts like Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage, Cockos Reaper, Plogue Bidule, Hosting AU, and other hosts that support AUv3 plugins. All application features are available on iOS and macOS, including MIDI support (with a midi learn option), audio unit parameters and importing samples from any directory on device. Also this update makes it possible to use the BeatCutter in DAWs and hosts as an instrument or effect plugin.

This update adds new datasets for generating parameters using templates, slightly improves the sound engine and fixes found issues. Added two new datasets for templates. Fixed bug with template position 34. Changed Band pass and Notch filters range to 100 - 10k. Changed triggers / sequencer filter range to 100 - 10k. Minor bugs were fixed.

The most important addition in this update is the feedback mode. This is not like analog feedback when positive loop gain occurs at some more or less stable resonant frequency. It looks more like fractals when the next level is similar to the whole structure, but in this case with constantly changes. We can say that it works like a sound structure that evolves and changes itself. This is an incredible ability to create perfect sound abstractions, unrelated to any external samples or signals and it opens up a huge potential for experimentation and inspiration. All changes: New feedback option sends the sum of the output buses signals back to the input. Added option to fade out the output and reset cells in the sample matrix. Additional output for channels C3,C4 for standalone mode and Audio unit. Added option to send direct signals of the input buses to the additional output. The direct signal of the input buses is now taken from the source signal. Added option to send the output buses signals for internal reverb to the additional output. App description has been updated and improved (also available as PDF). Added new datasets for templates. Some improvements of audio engine. Fixed problem with output to Bluetooth device. Minor bugs were fixed.

This update adds MIDI support. The app interface is designed for convenient work with the most common MIDI controllers containing 8 faders and 8 knobs. Another addition is the ability to use different datasets for templates. You can select a dataset to give a more specific direction to the sound generated with the template. This update adds several new features to improve the usability, improves the work of sound engine and fixes found issues. - The algorithm for applying fade in / out has been changed. The time is fixed at the start of recording, but the fades are applied during playback. This gives a smooth start / stop of playback even when using a bitmask. - Added a panel for step by step change and quick setting of predefined parameter values. - Added popup with a short description and value when changing parameters. - The parameter "Skip cell playback" now applies after the first playback. - Improved the algorithm for selecting cells for recording on the same trigger bus. - Parameter values in beats are displayed in whole and fractional parts. - Added option to app settings: "Display decimal part of beat as non simplify fraction". - Added option to app settings: "Start audio unit instance in the initial state". - More accurate display of the signal state with channel marks on the main screen. - The current state of all parameters is saved separately for standalone and audio unit. - Reduced the maximum time of fade in / out for more accurate setting of small values. - Reduced the maximum time of the module "Echo" for more accurate setting of small values. - Fixed an issue with the parameters "Step" for changing the playback speed and bitmask offset. - Fixed problem with saving the current state after applying a preset. - Several user interface improvements.
