Premium Features, Missing Functions, and Frustrations with Support
There are additional frustrations as well. Although the website mentions the ability to change the app icon, this option isn’t available in the app. Similarly, even though seat maps are advertised on the App Store, they are nowhere to be found in the app. Recently, they stopped replying to emails, adding to the frustration. There are glitches in widgets, issues with the friend search feature, and problems with the airport sign display. Furthermore, most Asian airlines don’t display airplane livery, and several low-cost airline logos—like Tigerair Taiwan, Peach Aviation, Philippines AirAsia, T’way Air, Jetstar Japan, and AirAsia X—are missing.
Overall, the free version now feels almost unusable, and the premium cost doesn’t seem justified unless you’re a frequent traveler.

Hi Sid, thanks for your critical review. What you have written is completely not true though, and we don't understand where this offence is coming from. Yes, we do offer a data import for App in the air users, and yes, we do require a yearly subscription for that. Since we also pay for the historical data and therefor cannot give it away for free. But neither will this trial be charged immediately, if you opt for the 7-day free trial, nor is anything true from what you have written about us. If you are unhappy with your subscription, please reach out to support@mileways.com and we will gladly refund you in full and immediately. There is no need to attack us in this kind of way where you spread misleading information about us.

Dear Amir9828, why are you writing a review which is simply not true? This is not nice. We never received any refund request of yours, nor did we ever reply like that. Please reach out to support@mileways.com and we will gladly refund your purchased subscription immediately. We don't even offer a plan for 70 Dollars. Maybe you have mistakenly written your review for another app or service.

Dear Abram_19, thanks for your valuable feedback and please excuse us for the not fully satisfying experience you had with our product. As for the live information on flights, it some times happen that we get the information with a little delay, but still we show and display flight info much fast than other airline apps. We are working hard on getting even more precise and even faster on all the flights. Regarding our pricing model. You are right, we offer a weekly and yearly plan, if you decide to purchase the yearly subscription, a yearly fee gets charged. We have never received a refund request from you. We are more than happy to refund you completely, since you were not happy with our services. Please email us to support@mileways.com and we handle your request right away.
