AI is good but beware of AWFUL tutors!
At first, this app seems like magic. Scan a math problem, and if it exists in the data base, you get an OK to above average explanation of the problem. I’ve found that they identify the math problem about 70% of the time.
The other 30% is a nightmare. You can request the help of a live tutor who will solve the problem for you - and quite frankly, I don’t know where they get these tutors from. Some of their answers have been AWFUL, sometimes not even answering the correct question.
And there is no way to follow up with them, no way to reach out and ask a question. You can only leave feedback in the app which goes to the black hole. It’s extremely unacceptable, w reckless and careless to have an app that ultimately delivers incorrect answers to kids who are trying to learn. Very disappointing.Show lessRealOren
Free trial is not worth it, almost like a scam
So, the app itself was great, love it. But it got to the end of the school year so I didnt need it anymore. I removed the app, but never noticed I had a subscription to something that was $31?! I didnt even want a subscription to something like that, I was never notified that I was paying money like that, and I didn’t notice until I checked my bank. Once the free trial ends it transfers to the $31 PLUS subscription. Be careful; when you delete apps, make sure you don’t have a subscription to anything!! Otherwise, I really enjoyed the time I used the app, it helped me so much, this was just one minor inconvenience, which can get resolved, and im currently working on a refund! :)Show lessNevertailsecho

After a long day being stuck in a building, I just want to get my work I’ve been assigned done with. This app intrigued me as it’s a math-solving-app. So, of course I downloaded it. It was really nice at first and it helped me with my math. However, over the months, it kind of became...“greedy”. Now, I completely understand this app needs to make a profit in someway, but either make the free version more utilizable and more available or make the subscriptions cheaper. The majority of users who use this app are teenagers to young adults, so they can’t really buy or afford these prices. Overall, I would be lying if I said the app was great, its really mediocre, but, it was once nice, I just wish it was always like that all the time. (I’m sure my opinion is a “small fish in a big pond”, but I’m just suggesting my opinion, I don’t expect the app to actually change.)Show lessroudbsjdujskqoxj

It used to be better
Use to be helpful and provided alot of it. Now its just a microtransaction/ad pump.
Cannot get anything solved anymore without paying for tickets or watching ads, cannot see answers anymore unless you pay for answer cards or watch more ads. And you only get so many of these tickets/cards per month which hardly makes the pay even worth it.
It use to give you answers and tutor help, while you could watch ads to speed up delivery time of the answer. Almost the same as Chegg now except more ads, and the answers are not guarenteed to even be remotely right. I cannot tell you how many times i have submitted a qestion just to get a completed irrelevant answer back from the "tutors", which just recycle old answers for similar questions and dont actually solve anything unless its a new question. Sad to see something go from great to mediocre at best. Stick to Photomath or Mathway.Show lessJennifer240612

When I started with this app it gave me some of the answers but there’s a problem with this app. This app is a scam of your money do not buy the free trail because the free trial is a waste and they couldn’t even do a math problem I asked for which was on negatives and instead when I scanned the problem I just got a free trial button pop up on my screen and it also said ask a tutor for help but I had experience with a friend in this app that had the tutor not even answer until the next week which is horrible but I don’t even like this app anymore now I prefer another app that I use which is much more better and this app is a scam and uses your money so don’t even try this app it’s horrible.Show lessDenise 😁

i pressed for the free trial so normally like all free trials they ask you to put your card info on so i put my apple pay thing and a few minutes later after doing that i get a notification saying that I just spent $36 at gauthmath!!!! WHAT!!?!??! so i'm talking to customers support of cash app and they're telling me i have to go through all of this waiting around for a refund and the app said that this is a normally occurrence when i went to the help section!! i would not recommend trying the trial out but the free tickets are actually really nice and the app is good overall except for this!! but i still haven't received my money and the customer support for this app is bad there is no one to talk to in situations like this you have to go through your bank and it will take a lot of time to get back.Show lessacai_24

I saw this app while scrolling through TikTok and wanted to try it out, the first few nights I didn’t really use it, since it was new and didn’t know how it worked, I used it the night I had to do some math problems and I tried it on a word problem, and with little to no hope, it worked and I’ve been using for the past 3 months and never regret getting it. just another app to buy and then immediately delete
I want to have an answer to my math question, but guess what? I have to SUBSCRIBE in order to get an answer. Not BUY, but subscribe. This means that I would need to constantly buy in order to get the answer. Money doesn’t grow on trees, so I have more sense to not waste my money on an app and I don’t have the money to constantly buy on this app. Please change it to at least buy one time or even better, free. It’s a great help but
This app is good for when you need help with a problem you can’t solve my only issue is that it’s so many greedy to the point where you can’t even use it, I’ve been using this app for a good week and could tell you they only care about money and if you say oh that’s why there is a free trial then you clearly don’t understand what I’m talking about. I either need to watch an ad or buy a membership to answer a question. I love the app but can’t rely on it in need of help cause I have to watch a bunch of adsShow lessantondcurtis
