  • Trash Service & Crazy Customer Service

    TL; DR: Time wasting and the customer service do not take any responsibility for their broken machines. Also crazy bad attitude.

    Our apartment complex switched to Tumble several months ago. When the team was here, they said it would be the best and smartest machines we have ever used. Such a joke when looking at it now. Our floor has at least 70 residents, and we only have 1 available machines wile other 3 machines are broken. Not only that, they don’t want to put a sign of “out of order” but want us to check on the app before doing laundry, which says they are “available” but actually not! I have notified them 3 times of putting a sign and they ignored all of them. I finally cannot hold it and asked for the number for the manager, and I was told that they cannot do it. Instead, they connected me with their staff of support team (a guy called Scott), and the attitude is absolutely crazy wild. He first said “so you are asking for a refund (for hassle, time and detergent for $1) because you didn’t check in the app?” in a way of making fun of their clients, and then just put me on read for 45 min. Then he finally returned and said “we can’t” and left. Absolutely love this attitude here, and I just can’t understand how the company can still get 4.7 stars on App Store. I am pretty sure I’m not the only one who is upset about their service.

  • Poor Customer Service

    When the app is functional, it works as expected with nice timers. However, if a machine cannot start there are no ways to process a card manually so you rely entirely on the app. The poor rating is due to customer service being unable to resolve any issues in a timely manner when there are issues between the app and machine.

  • Do you love wasting time?

    This is the most effective way to waste time in your day! The machines are barely functional. They give you the appearance of choices, but everything is going to be hot. Your washes? Hottest water possible! The driers? Hottest setting imaginable. Don’t worry about pressing the silly little buttons, they don’t do anything! Neither does “locking” your machine via the app. Machines are not kept up in any capacity with many of them having rust in them mere months after installation. The guy on the chat was nice and refunded me for my clothes sitting in rusted water in a broken machine for thirty minutes while the app counted down the time on my wash as if the machine was still working. Currently only one of four washers in the laundry room at my complex are working and this is the second time in a month that they have been here purely as decoration.

  • Absolutely terrible customer service

    Our building’s washing machine has been out of service for months and apparently tumble cannot get anyone to fix it. We only hear that they “are attempting to schedule repairs”. This service is 3x as expensive as the prior coin operated service, and it is far far worse.
  • Gone downhill

    I was a big fan but it’s barely usable now. The service uses independent contractors to wash your clothes and it’s obvious that there are far more people in San Francisco that need their clothes washed than there are, as they call them, “laundry pros.” I’ve waited hours for a laundry pro to become available, only to contact the chat on the app and be told “try again tomorrow.” The DoorDash part is a bit of a mess too, as the drivers think they’re picking up food only to be confused about how to get into some random apartment building and then handed a large bag of laundry. I’ve been contacted by DoorDash drivers many times trying to get information from me that I certainly can’t give them as I have no idea where my laundry is being done. And it can take a really long time for the drivers to show up… I’m not sure why. I think they’re just confused. It used to be convenient but now I have to budget a big part of my day and work it around when and if I can get my laundry done.

  • Terrible service DO NOT USE

    So many issues with this service/app, I’m often unable to start machines despite paying. If your building uses this service run.
  • Problematic

    When it works….its good. BUT…I had a problem with the App and now I can’t get back in. And so cannot reach support, cannot get refund, cannot communicate with anyone. Tried resolving by resetting and that’s not working either. Really frustrating. Not enough options for problem resolution.
  • Terrible

    My building switched to this company a while ago and they are the worst. The machines only work via app and the app is finicky and can take up to five minutes to scan. Machines break frequently, and whenever you reach out to customer service they say they’ll send someone out, but never do. We have a dryer that’s been broken for over two months and I’ve reached out to them at least 10 times to no avail. Also, the dryers don’t get hot enough/don’t have enough time on them and your clothes are never fully dried. This has also been reported and they claim they’ll fix it, but never do. I honestly wonder if I’m talking to a bot every time I contact customer service.

  • Amazing Customer Service

    Though I’ve had some issues with the machine eating my money and not starting, what keeps me very happy with this app is the amazing customer service! They are truly working hard to respond as quickly as they can and help with any refunds and even starting the machine from afar when there are issues with locally starting the machine. I am constantly impressed and thankful for the solid customer service experience I had. Shoutout to yall!! ✨🙏🏼

  • The worst service!

    App never tells you if machines are working . They may or may not return your money. I’ve wasted so much time in the past 2 months.
