Waste of time

I tried to use this app 3 weeks ago, I sent money from my bank account which was then pending on Nala. Within a few hours the money was sent back to my account. I then tried to send money to a friend and a message popped up saying contact customer support we are unable to verify your details. I contacted customer services and days later I received a message saying it was resolved which was a lie. I tried to send money again and received the same message saying contact customer support we are unable to verify your details. I contacted those guys again and heard nothing for days, 3 weeks later I receive a message saying they are dealing with it. A week on, still not resolved, no contact no nothing. I’m
Having to send money from bank to my friends m pesa to send to my m pesa account when I need money. Currently in kenya from london having to rely on other people to send me my money.

Money not received.

I sent money to my sister 3 days ago while on Nala, app it says delivered my sister never received the money😭, and I wrote them a message they keep saying they working on it which is taking longer and the money was intended for something important, this is ridiculous and I feel like this site is not secure at all. How can hey say the money was delivered while it is not, she never received the money, this is inconvenient, frustrating, and pathetic at the same time. I told them to refund me the money back which they refuse I’m still waiting on them to do something about this issue.

Please don’t use this App if you’re sending money for emergency!! It is a week now, money is not been delivered but funds have been taken out of customers account! Nala says the transaction cannot be cancelled! Dont you know some of us send money for emergency purposes like hospital and medicine bills , school fees, funerals, plane tickets etc??? What are we supposed to do when money is not delivered on time and funds are already taken out of the account? Then we have to wait for a week!!!! This is very frustrating! If Nala knows there is a problem with Airtel, then they must inform the customers in advance so they won’t use the service or carrier. This is very unacceptable and you will Lose a lot of customers for this!!! Be transparent and refund customers money immediately when you cannot deliver!

This app keeps clients informed

I do not trust this app have used so many app in the past MoneyGram, Western Union, Rea, and for all of this app this is the app it asked for your detail personal information and it does not give it a chance to edit or hide them. this is very very dangerous when an app pass your personal information, including your picture and copies of your national identification documents. I don’t know if I’m the only one seeing this, but an app was supposed to present Africa. I think you understand with transparency and someone has been sending money for so many years. This app is not transparent. It has a hidden agenda. I will not trust an app like this.

Was doing great until recently

I loved this app and it’s convenience and speed. But recently, anytime I send money it gets declined. And I’m told by Nala that my bank cancelled the transaction but on my bank account the money would be withdrawn and then returned by nala. Meaning Nala is rather the ones declining the payment and not my bank. This keeps happening, and my family need funds almost immediately. Therefore I cannot wait on their customer service that takes days now for some reason, very different from the past. As it turned out I have deleted the app and installed a different application.

Poor service

Nala use to be very good with their service and customer services earlier on. Now you send money and its not delivered and customer service do not respond. Please avoid sending money with Nala. They excuse is always we have escalated the issue but if you follow through they really have not and they are just sitting on our money. Listen we diaspora when we send money most of the time there is an emergency at home and the money is needed right then, so if you holding the money, why should we send with you and not other companies who delivers the money right away. Please work on improving your customer services. We were so happy with your services but now we are embarrassed even to mention that we use your services

Refund me!!!

I wish I read the reviews before downloading cos it’s been more than 24hrs I sent money from Nala to a Nigeria account and till now the money has not been received 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ Also I have been trying to reach them on the socials but no response or help even from their support 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ and I almost even got scammed by a fake account that says he was their customer service.

How can an app lack a customer service like this!!! Honestly you guys need to do better or else you will lose customers drastically.

Please refund me or send my money !!🙏🏾🙏🏾

Bad customer service and liars

I recently attempted to use Nala for an international money transfer to South Africa, a service they claim to offer. However, my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. I initiated the transfer 11 days ago, and it has still not gone through. To make matters worse, I’ve reached out to their customer service multiple times, but I’ve received no response or assistance. For a platform that markets itself as efficient and customer-centric, this experience has been highly disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone looking to make timely and reliable payments to South Africa or other African countries to reconsider using Nala until they improve their service and communication.

Finally, someone responded to my several messages after 2 weeks of initiating the transaction with comments like…’going forward, do not send messages, we will respond when we get a response from our partner’ another- “I am only trying to help you” as if the staff is not been paid for their work.

I am just waiting for my transaction to go through after two weeks so I can delete the app.

Poor customer service

Got referred this app last week. Filled in all the information and made a transfer, just for them to come the next day and say, they are shutting my account down due to their UK policy. I am not even in the UK, I reside in the US, and I gave all valid information including my social security info. I hope this isn’t a scam. I filled or texted an appeal, which ever one they consider, and it’s been 3 days no one has looked at the appeal or responded. I have never left a review for any app, but I will like to understand the delay, or be given a valid US reason not UK. I do not reside in the UK.
