Was great before it said I had to pay to use it

Response from developer

The app is great, and great apps only exist with their customers' support. You were told the first time you opened the app that it was free to try 5 times, and then requires a one-time payment to continue using. This allows me to make and support a quality timer app, thanks to my many happy customers.

Limited

Can't change designs (which are super limited), colours or to numbers or otherwise. Not really an easy or straightforward interface. Can't do a stop watch (count up rather than down). Purchasing it really doesn't improve anything.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! You can change designs, customize colors, add your own images, and more using the Appearance button in the app — please email adam@overdesigned.net if you need assitance. The purchase allows you to continue using the app after you try the app for free 5 times; my intent was to let you try everything in the app without limits, so you can better decide if you want to pay to continue using it. Hope that helps!

Love it

Been using this timer for 2 years now. I work online and need to have timed meetings. This allows me to park the timer in the corner of the screen where it's in my periphery and very easily keep track of time. I love the flexibility and the simplicity-- I don't need bells & whistles. In fact, I turn off the sound and just use it as a visual cue. Perfection.

Happy User of this App

Hi, I'm 16 and I want to say that I'm incredibly satisfied with this app. It's simple and it offers an incredible deal to add images and use the timer as many as you want once you pay for the unlimited $4.99 deal. If you're looking for a minimalistic and intuitive visual timer, here it is, for yours truly. Plus, you can add different timers, change colors, and select any ringer sound. (Sadly, you can't add your own sounds). In my subjective opinion, I like that I can add any images in the clock, and seeing my favorite fictional character kind of motivates me more to persist any obstacles until the timer ends. Thank you kind developer, this is the best designed timer I can find that helps me focus and isn't complicated. :)

Fantastic app

I'm autistic and find visualising time very difficult. Using this app I find transitioning between tasks much easier, making my helper's life and mine much easier without having to carry around my physical timers.
Absolutely five stars.

Brilliant

When at my standing desk, time 1hr sitting, 1hr standing.

It is a ripper app. love it.

The simplest clearest timer - just perfect!

Thank you so much for this! The live activities support alone makes this awesome

Great app, but...

Great app, I like the design, the pop out feature is great, exactly what I was looking for, however it crashes soooo much, at least 3 times when first opening, and sometimes crashes randomly and it takes me out of being focused on my work to restart the app again (multiple times), pleeease fix the crashing problem

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! Please email adam@overdesigned.net about these crashes — Apple has not sent me crash reports, but I will help you directly if I can. Thanks!

Great timer for ADHD adults too :)

it’s a great visual timer for me, so simple to use and I love I can display it on my tv screen. I have a physical visual timer in my office and didn’t want to buy one for each room of the house so this is a great solution for having a timer I can easily display everywhere I go. I never leave reviews but couldn’t resist as it’s really helped.

Good for kickstarting flow

For me, the pomodoro method is a means to achieve flow. The timer sets up a contract that motivates me long enough for the work itself to capture my attention. These sort of timers have to be just barely noticeable if they are to help me maintain flow when the timer runs out and is no longer needed. If my concentration is high enough to focus, the timer should not interrupt me. This timer is the first to achieve that delicate balance -- it can be set to wiggle unobtrusively and quietly when time's up. It's the small things that count.
