horribly unorganized app
The "expiring" tab only shows you expiring "locked" rewards and NEVER shows or alerts you of expiring "unlocked/cash out eligible" rewards. This is super deceptive, as it led me to keep purchasing products thinking I was increasing my balance until I noticed that my balance was quickly dropping everyday. I thought I was fine for a long time since the expiring tab never showed my unlocked rewards there and the website says I am supposed to have 180 days before those expire! This is completely false, as I had to scroll through 4 months of purchases to find that my unlocked rewards were really expiring at the 90-day mark instead of the 180 days written in their terms. I am super frustrated about how much money I lost. Because of their $1.50 cash out fee, I usually wait until I am at the $50 maximum cash out amount to cash out. I only noticed something was wrong when it felt like I wasn't reaching $50 as quickly as before.. I am really disappointed that 1) their 180 expiration timeframe is false and 2) they make zero effort to notify you of UNLOCKED expiring rewards. Make sure to check your balance frequently as they will silently take your money if you don't notice.Show lessBad customer service/ none
I’ve been using this app for a while and it’s full of bugs and not honest. I had bought many things that claimed to unlock rewards but the accounts when synced don’t collect the reward. It’s not honest. I had to change my phone number after 5 years and have requested in the app that they update my phone number so I can cash out- my Venmo and PayPal are already up to speed. They sent emails saying “if my request was approved they would update it beginning of September.” Well guess what. I sent requests beginning of august and they still haven’t updated yet. And I can’t change it bc they don’t allow me to update it. I’m now in the process of gathering their information, company info, etc to contact the BBB and whoever else is interested in their business practices. You don’t play me. At least not without me coming for you. So they could at least be honest but they are not. That said- I have cashed out over $300 in past rewards so the app, though dishonest, works to a degree. I have been using brand club for quite some time now and I love the cash back aspect of it. Recently they started charging a few to cash out. Fine, I get it, everyone has fees for everything these days BUT they have a max cash out of $50. I currently have over $80 in cash back and they are making me request it in two different transactions intimately leading to paying the fee twice - kind of feels like double dipping in to the cash back that I earned. I’ve reached out to their support and after about 5 times of explaining myself they finally told me $50 is the max you can cash out per day and you have to pay the fee as many times as you need to cash out. So while I enjoy the app, the penny pinching on my already tight bank account has me real annoyed.Show less
