  • Fun but not rewarding.

I love seeing the map change and having to complete more and more challenging quests. I don’t love the absurd prices of every single thing in the game. The cost to buy extra inventory slots increases exponentially. Items in the “flash sale” slot aren’t even close to being on sale. Why is a level one magic tree 50 gems? An iron sword close to 30? The game should be challenging but allow you to choose how to play. If I save up a bunch of coins and want to make one challenge easier why can’t I use those coins over gems? Even energy. Energy cannot be bought unless with gems or ads. If I have 20,000 coins why isn’t there an area in the shop to spend coins giving the game its own balance. Save coins to buy slots, items, first level generators, or elixir. I’m holding out hope things get balanced but the more I play the more frustrating it gets.

  • Good merge-type game

I’m liking this game so far. The graphics and assets are charming, as are the ambient sounds and music. However, I there are a few annoyances which hold the game back. I feel like there is a dissonance between the rate at which energy and spawners recharge. Perhaps this is just because it is the early game, but I am positively swimming in energy, between the normal recharge and energy potions from the chests I’ve gotten, while every spawner but the bucket seems to take an unusually long time to recharge. I have completed another game of this type called “Mergificent,” and as I recall I also had a lot of energy early on, but there were only a few spawner types which had noticeably long recharges early on, not every single one encountered after the first. Though it is hard to tell exactly because there is no timer given for spawner recharge. I honestly don’t know why the game doesn’t have a visible timer for this, especially considering that there is a visible timer for chest unlock. It is really just inconvenient. Seeing how long the recharge takes would allow for more planning out when to come back to the game and when to use time-boosts. Another feature that would be nice is either giving the ability to remove bubbles early like in Merge Mansion or to have the bubbles float around not taking up space on the board like in Mergificent.

  • Energy for the Grand Tournament

Been playing the merger for a long time, have loved what you all have done in almost all aspects of the game across all updates.

Super excited about The Grand Tournament chapter, very cool to have a new narrative with alternative generator behaviors and refresh rates. The area started out fast and exciting when it was launched on Wednesday but now three days in the pace has slowed considerably due to limited energy replenishment and high-level mission items. I purchased a few of the +100 potions yesterday and watch some +15 ads but it has been over 24 hours and the +100 purchase options has not reset to 5 gems nor has the ad option become available, it always seems to be counting down but never becomes available.

I was hoping the pace would keep up but now I’m starting to have doubts I’ll be able to finish the chapter in the next 11 days.

  • Ridiculous

I’ve been playing this game for several months now. I’ve loved it but as I’ve gotten further into it, its become increasingly disappointing. Early on, tasks are much more rewarding, since completing a task equates to a significant improvement to the village. However, I’m in the harbor portion of the game, and it takes FOREVER to complete one tiny section. For example, it takes a max level iron ingot to complete one tiny tile on a roof. Considering how difficult it is to obtain iron, its downright outrageous how little the task completes. Several of my current tasks require iron ingots to complete, and so its taking me days upon weeks just to finish a single task. It’s so disappointing how the progress of the game grinds to a complete halt, to the point that the game is no longer fun or rewarding.

  • Good game but it needs improvements.

I’ve played this game a fair bit. It’s pretty good for killing time, even if it is a bit repetitive. It also has a good story, although progress can be slow. It has a few issues, which if fixed, it could be 5 stars. My biggest issue is that the sell button for items is in the same place for the boost button of other items. It costs gems, a typical freemium currency, to boost items or recharge energy. I’ve accidentally boosted an almost useless item, hay, 6 times. You’d think I’d learn but I keep doing it. It costs 25 gems to boost it, while it costs 5 then 10 then 20 and so on gems per day to restore energy. This is would be much less of a problem if there was a confirmation or if it was in a different place. There are other smaller issues, like quests not showing up if you have other incomplete quests. This may be intended, but if I have items to complete the quest, I’d usually rather just do that quest right away. They also just split the map into separate loadable areas, which may be due to making room for more quests or decreasing load times, which I haven’t had a problem with. Also since the last update, my inventory keeps getting rearranged, but I figure they will fix that in the next update. I would recommend this game, as it is better than a lot of freemium games, but it still needs to refine a few things.

  • I don’t keep many games on my phone…

But this one stays! I’ve bought a little bit here and there, but it’s all F2P if you’re patient. This game is a wonderful time waster and is clearly the dev’s passion project, so give it a try. Tip: Don’t throw out your rope, air rods, or fire rods; you’ll need them later and I’m grinding to get them, especially since the fairy pond isn’t a permanent generator anymore. Oh, and the thing that motivated me to finally rate the game was seeing “remove” on the bubbles that pop up and offer you things for gems. I’ve been wanting that forever!

Great dev, great game. Looking forward to seeing the world expand more. I’m not completely done, but I’m hoping to see more people in the beach area (I’m still rebuilding) and more quest opportunities, since the one portal-based quest was a bit underwhelming.

  • Disappointing

The game is unique and beautifully designed. The tasks are appropriate to what is on the game board. The part that is absurd is that you have an energy system that gets used up quickly if you aren’t paying attention, however the fact that the items on the board have to recharge before you can continue is beyond frustrating. You also don’t get enough random items coming out of these items to progress at any real pace. Example is the barrel gives you tools and equipment like hammers and gloves yet the gloves hardly ever come out so you have to wait through several cycles until you get one glove to merge to the other 3 you having taking up space on your board. The space on the board is full of random items covered in cobwebs and leaves no room for items you need to merge. When you buy crates all the items are covered in cobwebs making it completely useless and wasting even more space that you don’t have. That is something that needs to be fixed. If you fixed these issues this game would rank so much higher for downloads. Thanks !!

  • Solid 4.7 stars but thats not an option

Great story and relatable protagonist BUT storage can be stressful once you unlock a certain amount of storage it becomes a game of what can I get rid of to make more room to make more money to unlock more storage to progress in the game. Also, it’s frustrating that you don't have timers for supply items, however, I understand why this isn’t included but still.
Other than a few problems the game is great and I would recommend. The ads are not click bait and the story makes you want to come back. The art style is nice and different from other games and you don't need to worry about some problems that you would run into in other merge games. It slowly amps the challenges up at a slow pace. You don't have to worry about the game becoming addicting because of timers, but the timers don't prevent you from playing like Merge Mansion, Forevermerge and similar games. And timers don't take ages.
I recommended this game to my mom and we now play together.I really enjoy this game so to the game developers keep the great work your doing a wonderful job c:

  • Has potential

I don’t really play mobile games all that often, but I do enjoy a good quality game with a good story and content. Now this game has both of those but where it gets you is the amount of time you have to wait. I’m level 5 and you’re telling me I have to wait 17 hours for something to recharge so I can continue progressing?? That’s honestly absurd to me. I don’t know who came up with that idea but I definitely think it needs fixed. I can spawn in a few items to merge that maybe get me 4 merges away from what I need but I gotta wait 17 hours twice just to complete one task. Doesn’t make sense to me. Like I said, has potential. But that wait time is what’s gonna lose me and lots of others.

  • Weird Changes and Overall Opinions

This is the first mobile game that has kept me playing consistently. I don’t mind waiting for the energy to refill because it prevents me from spending too much time. It’s the perfect casual game. However, this latest update has made it less enjoyable.

One of the things I loved about this game was the UI. It was the cleanest I’ve seen in a long time with all those ad ridden games and horrible graphics. The newest update changed it and made everything proportioned weirdly. The information bar is now too big and the interactive buttons aren’t even aligned with the border. The plus signs on the top is way to chunky, which makes everything feel cluttered.

I also wished the update logs actually told us what the update did instead of just saying, “Improvements and Bug Fixes”. I would be nice to know what we can expect instead of being disappointed when we find out that the Fairy Fountain disappears after use. Or letting us know there are more levels added to certain items. These little details can make or break the game, and it’s always good to let the user know.

    TL;DR
+I like this game, but the newest update is weird
+New UI looks bad compared to the old one
