Great Quick Mental Check In App!
This app is a lovely tool to check in with yourself and quickly note how you are feeling that day. It requires little to no time to take note of how you are feeling, and can be used to identify patterns in your everyday mental health. For me personally, having these check ins help me assess when my moods are the most challenging and allow me to directly compare it to external factors that may be impacting my overall emotions. As someone who has a hard time committing to journaling, this is a perfect alternative! I love the TWLOHA brand and messaging - the access to all of their articles in-app is also a huge plus.

Amazing
Such a useful app, great for self care!
Makes mood tracking so much easier!
Love that I can track my emotions in an app, anywhere and at anytime! I used to do this on paper, but stopped because it was too time-consuming. It’s so much easier now!
Incredibly grateful for this app
I have been greatly struggling with my mental health recently. I often find it hard to be consistent with journaling, and I find that doing so through an app makes it much easier for me to remember. I found out about this app through Propeller. I am so impressed with the enormous amount of resources that this app provides you with for free. I feel that most self care apps hide most resources behind a paywall, and many people (including myself) who need the help can not afford to pay so much for it. The app provides you with daily journaling and a mood tracker. My favorite part is how many worksheets it provides you with and how helpful they are. Overall, I am very grateful I found this app and look forward to using it.

Simple Enough
I want to start this by saying I understand how this app could be useful to some people. It gives you a motivational quote, a mood checker, and a moment to journal. Apps like these can be great tools for people who struggle to build habits like myself. I think the fact that the emotion tracking tool also can be shown on a calendar could be very helpful for tracking mood patterns and understanding your progress over time if you are struggling to not be struggling all the time.
That said, I have a few issues. The first being the inability to change your name. I made my account by signing up with apple. Apple has my deadname, because I cannot currently be out to everyone who has access to it. Not being able to change my name in apps isn’t something I run into often and it makes me uncomfortable to see that name there. I will also say the motivational quotes are also really corny and a bit shallow. The emotion tracking system uses very few and very ambiguous emotions which, though it might help the calendar be more visually helpful for tracking, makes it difficult to engage with as an autistic person. I know myself and I know if this were to become a part of my daily routine I would simply choose the middle option every time.
There are articles and other stuff which I appreciate, but I personally haven’t found anything I found super compelling in those.
That’s it. Nothing groundbreaking, a couple small issues, probably just not for me.

What I’ve been missing!
I’ve had this app for a little bit and I must say that I don’t regret it one bit. Most often, my days blend together, but with this, I’ve been able to see how my mood fluctuates and I can recall how my day went based on what I’ve responded. I also feel like I can be honest with myself on the short stimulus questions that follow. The various amounts of inclusive resources makes me feel seen and they are quite helpful. The daily encouraging message also makes me smile when I see it along with all the other inspiring messages in the app. I would recommend this app a thousand times over for people who like to journal/track their patterns of any kind.

Why didn’t anyone think of this sooner??
I love this app so far, it puts positive affirmations right in from of you, it encourages you to blog about your emotions, it has resources for you to reach out to if you need help, it gives you ideas for what to do to take care of yourself when you are so depressed that you can’t remember. So far, I love it! And their merch seems very reasonably priced, although I have not bought anything yet (my first day using it). I think my therapist would love for me to use something like this to reached my daily emotions so I know where I am at in my mental health cycle.
