I’m excited

I’m excited to try this. I have a journal that I would write in but sometimes it takes too much effort on my low days to sit down and write stuff. Having an app on my phone makes this easier especially for when I travel. I love that they have articles to read for specific issues.

The Hopeful App Review

To be honest: as someone who struggles with mental health help, having a free app where you feel like you can constantly go for help is so nice. It’s like having an everyday therapist, but you don’t have to worry about getting a response you don’t want to hear. You get out of it what you put into it and it’s definitely worth the time.

Great app for all!

This app has helped me through a stressful week of finals and helped me through others parts of my life! It really helps guide you through how you feel and how to take care of yourself! I recommend it to anyone in need of a way to express their emotions and focus on themselves!

Your word is your honor!! Speak only truths

I love the idea of this app & help it can do! Learned of it thru Propeller(which i also love all the causes they support & initially joined to win Bonnaroo tix). I earned points for downloading this app & wuld have earned even more had i gave a 5star rating but i am forfeiting those extra points in lieu of TRUTHS & the principle that propeller needs to practice what they preach & follow same guidelines of the causes they r partnered with. They advocate Unrigging the System, yet reward users w/points for 5star rating!! How is that advocating for democracy, & not biased!?!? I for one, rely on ratings before I download new apps but why shuld I contribute to the problem by being rewarded for following their gerrymandering practices? Call me ol’ school, but this hippie chick was raised on speaking the truth & standing up for what u believe in, therefore I am forfeiting the extra points by standing up for the values i grew up on and not giving a high rating (tho i most likely wuld have, had i not felt coerced to do so)! Meanwhile, i will keep trying to find the right road to Bonnaroo. P.s. i apologize to the app creator; i do believe u r serving a great need, but u r promoting it all wrong, sorry!
***update*** i am changing my rating based on the prompt response of the app creator and their willingness to resolve the problem and do the right thing. Thanks so much for listening!

Response from developer

Hi there! We want to thank you for your honest review. We value your genuine feedback as it relates to The Hopeful. Propeller users are no longer receiving additional points for leaving a 5-star review, but are now simply encouraged to leave a review so other people can find this app and engage in daily self-care activities that support their mental well-being.

Well designed!

This app is very easy to navigate, which makes it that much more desirable to use! As someone who struggles with mental health, I try to find easy, manageable ways to track my mood and release my feelings. I enjoy journaling but I find it hard to keep up with. This app is because it is a quick and easy way to track your mood and journal. It even has prompts such as "How can you show yourself grace today?". The app is well designed with 3 main tabs: home, discover, and my story. The home tab has the mood & journal as well as links to blog posts and podcasts. The discover tab has more links to blog posts and podcasts as well as other links to resources for self care and help, hotlines, etc. There are also links to learn more about TWLOHA, events like their 5K, and to shop their store or donate. The "my story" tab is your profile page where you can view all of your mood & journal entries as well as access account settings.

Great!!

This app is great
Amazing for daily self care would 100% recommend.

Love it!

I have just found out about this app through the website Propeller and I already love it! It really helps me keep track of my moods and I really enjoy reading the different tips the app has to offer! Whether it be self-care, anxiety, or anything else I might want to know about the app provides it!

exactly what i needed

honestly just one day into downloading the app and i already know this will be the most beneficial app on my phone. i love that i was able to input journal entries for previous dates (i was using a journal app i didn’t like as much and just copied and pasted previous entries from my old app to this one because this app looks so much nicer)! the journal prompts are great. the articles, although i haven’t even read though any yet, look like the words i need to hear in this difficult season of my life. overall, the app looks pretty and organized and i’m so excited to start using it daily. thank you twloha!

This is the app I’ve been looking for!

I’ve been looking for a simple, free, daily journal and mood tracker and TWLOHA has nailed it. The layout is beautiful, the resources are plenty but not overwhelming, it functions exactly as it should. I’m so excited to use this to help me keep track of my health and journal a bit every day! The prompts are nice and I like that you can follow them or do your own thing. Highly recommend, it’s better than even Day One, which was my journaling app prior to this one.

TWLOHA- Great App from a Great Organization

This is one of my favorite non-profit organizations so I was really excited when I found out they were releasing an app. It’s set up well so that you can quickly and easily track your mood. There are also journal prompts you can choose to write about when submitting your entry. I find this nice because they are questions & writing topics I wouldn’t think to write about. Their blog always has well written, inspiring, and informative posts that cover a wide range of topics. This app has the blog posts on there so it’s easy to read them in the app.
