  • Brilliant

The graphics are amazing! The sound effects put you right into the atmosphere and intrigue you to continue the game. Loved having to find piece to small puzzles to unlock the major puzzles. Very addictive game and can’t wait for another like
  • The Room 2

You have to play this game! I have never given a 5 star rating before, but this game totally deserves it. The puzzles are fantastic, the graphics are fantastic everything is fantastic. Even the clues are just the right amount without completely giving the answer away, so you really have to think about what you need to do next. The levels get slightly harder as you go along, but so does the suspense. Once you get going you will not be able to put it down.
Well done to all the team at Fireproof. I’m off to download all their games right now!!

  • Interesting puzzles but the plot was hard to follow

I have no idea what just happened in the plot of this game. However, the puzzles were really interesting and fun to solve. They were exactly the right amount of challenging. I didn’t get too frustrated, and I liked that the hints were available if I really got stuck. I love how detailed the game is and how hard you have to look to put together some of the pieces. The fact that you have to be really precise with some of the items on a touch screen can be a bit frustrating (ex: if I put a crank up to something but haven’t zoomed in all the way, it doesn’t recognize the match.) I finished the whole game in just a few hours, and I definitely wish there was more!

  • Love the game play

Update, I remove this stars I set it to 1. Even with the progress that wasn’t saved I tried again to start over. Took some time there is no option to speed up animation. I use the quit option to make sure my progress was saved. Then I go to the second room and it crashed again. Guess where I started again? First room, with only a tiny bit of progress.
That game has a great potential and I love the concept. But it’s super frustrating to start all over again. I tried 5 times and it crashed on second room but in different places. I’m an iOS dev I know it can be tough sometimes but it’s really frustrating as a player.

I really like that game. It’s unique and super interesting. I’m quite sad though that the app crashed when I was on the second room almost finishing it and now I have to start all over agin my progress wasn’t save along the way :(

  • Love these games

I have been playing The Room games for years (yes, years!). I’ve played every single one of them and I love them. Enough so that I keep coming back and replaying them. I just completed this game (again) and can’t help myself from loving it all over again.

I love the mystery to the game. It’s not really clear as you go what the story will be. It keeps you guessing on what’s going to happen in the next chapter. The puzzles are fun and hard enough to keep you thinking. It’s not some mindless “this is done in 2 seconds” type of game. You’ll need to take screen shots or write things down because you’ll run across something that you’ll use 5 minutes later. Getting back to the clues is simple though, so if you’re lost, you can just look back on what you’ve already done.

The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is super user friendly. I like how the game gives you hints, but without giving you the answer straight out. I do wish that some of the clues were a little less “well duh, I already knew that” and a little more helpful. Like in the later chapters where the clue says “I picked up a handle. I wonder where that could be used?”

All in all, highly recommend this game to anyone that loves puzzles and mystery and room escapes.

  • So Immersive!

Can someone make this in VR? I need this in VR.

I almost prefer this to real escape rooms now; not only are the scenes gorgeous and the ambiance just the right amounts of spooky but mysterious, the entire experience feels so real—the slight claustrophobia, mild anxiety, and panic at being stuck in a small, abandoned room forever. The difficultly level of this was just right also; not once was I bored or thought that the room was too obvious, but neither did I ever feel like pulling out hairs over how absurdly arbitrary some solutions were,

Also, someone give this sound engineer a raise. All of the sound effects were so perfect in this. This game would have been just a regular escape room game with slightly better than average visuals had it not been for the sound effects that made me really feel as if I were stranded at sea or having the ground quake below my feet.

  • Best escape game I have ever played

I love escape games and play them often, usually they’re badly written and I have to look up answers because there’s just no way you were supposed to figure it out yourself. In this one I used the hint maybe 3 times and it was just incredible. The puzzles were amazing, I loved how each room had an interesting story line, It wasn’t too overwhelming, its just perfect. The necromancy room was a little bit hard for me to figure out where to start, but that’s pretty much it the rest was very playable and once I got started on that chapter I got it. My only disappointment is that the rest of the games cost money and i’d love to play them.

  • Very Great Game 💖

After playing the first game, I was excited to enjoy the second version and I must say, they did not miss. This game offers a very brain challenging take on escape room games, when you think you’ve completed all parts of the level; the game surprises you with a new puzzle. The music and background sounds place the game in a very dark setting and I’m here for it! I’d say, if you really want to put your brain to the test this escape room short is the perfect game for you. I started the game last night and finished it this morning and I loved every bit.

Can’t Wait To Enjoy More Work!

    Thank You Fireproof Games! 💖

  • A great escape room experience

The graphics and the music were amazing. It throws you right into the atmosphere. I really enjoyed the whole experience. The puzzles were in most cases entertaining and sometimes quite challenging.
The story was a bit confusing though. I’m not sure about it but I think maybe you need to pay close attention to the names and the dates to get the story. I’m pretty sure that if I’d get the story it’d be much more fun to me. However, it’s a escape room and the story is not an essential part of it. Overall, 5 golden stars. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻

  • Amazing

Played through the whole game in one sitting and have to say it was amazing I had a few problems though I wish there was more to the game I thought it was too short and plus I had never played the first game because it is payed (I just happened to have Apple Arcade for this one) so I had no idea what was happening you should put in a little cutscene or note that explains what happened in the first game or you could put the first game on Apple Arcade as well. That is all I have to say thank you. (Did not realize there was a free version of first game at the time but still I don’t want to buy the rest of the levels)
