  • Great First Experience

I’ve never played any of The Room games so this is my first time. Loved the puzzles and the difficulty was just right, needing just a few hints. Would love for the rest of the Rooms to come to Apple Arcade!
  • Short but very sweet

If you’ve played other ‘room’ games then you know what to expect. This game didn’t disappoint and I have to admit to having wasted a gold few hours (and using more hints than I’d like to admit) playing it.

The puzzles were difficult without being too tough and the graphics are fantastic. Thoroughly recommended.

  • Awesome and also terrifying

So I just wanna start out by saying I don’t like horror movies or games but my dad suggested this game and I looove puzzles and escape rooms so I decided to give it a try. The into and first 2 chapters were fun. But you almost lost me on the 3rd one 😂 I freaked out when the guy appear in the corner and even more when the skeleton appeared at the table 😂. But anyway I finished that chapter and when onto the next and I could tell as soon as the door started to open that this was gonna be creepy (rusty doors on a creepy building at night, what do you expect?) so I exited the app and came over to write a review. I really liked all the puzzles because I had to think about them and remember the small details. But they weren’t to hard that I got frustrated. The only thing I would suggest is to make the story more clear but maybe that’s the point? I’m confused on why there a skeleton at the table and why they guys face it scratched out. I need answers! Okay now I’m gonna go finish 😰!

  • Game play is too linear

Loved the graphics and sound effects. There was a particularly unexpected scarey moment in the chapter with the card table - never had that happen in an app before (that’s good btw). But...Pretty simple and linear game play. It’s like I’d find an object, put it in a really obvious spot that would open something else up revealing another object that also went in an extremely obvious spot. There was rarely more than one item in my inventory at one time. The parts that were difficult were so bc the required action involved finding something that was in an awkward spot to see on screen if you weren’t looking on the right angle (not bc it required logic). You need several things going on at once that could have several possible solutions to make it more challenging. And throw in a few red herrings and some dud objects too. If I hadn’t accidentally subscribed to Apple Arcade I wouldn’t have played it. Am trying to get my money’s worth.

  • WOW!

Fireproof Games has rekindled my love of escape-themed games!

While I had wished the game was a bit longer, or perhaps had more cutscenes, I cannot fault anything about the narrative or the gameplay. The story and backbone are very Lovecraftian in nature, with a slow-burn development that constantly leaves one to wonder what lies next - answers and salvation, or abyss and damnation? The gameplay itself is fluid and intuitive, with the touch-based controls being extremely user friendly. The graphics, art, and design are nothing short of awe-inspiring. The puzzles contained within are difficult enough to keep you engaged and to keep yo thinking, but easy enough that the entire experience is still enjoyable. And should you get lost or need help, you’ll find the hints to be subtle enough that the answer isn’t given away, but also straight-forward without being condescending.

If you’re looking for a puzzler and/or escape game but you’re sick of point-and-click mechanics and mind-numbing story, I definitely recommend this game!

Fireproof, you’ve outdone yourselves! I can’t wait to see what’s next.

  • Optimized iOS Interface

The Room and The Room 2 are some of the best gaming experiences for mobile gaming. Working through the puzzles with console quality graphics and some of the best sound effects in gaming, this puzzler doesn’t fall short in any way. My only “disappointment” for The Room 2 is the length. I wish it was about twice the length. Aside from that, the incredible attention to detail makes you feel that this is a passion project from a very talented group of developers. Extremely well done! Hope to see The Room 3 on Apple Arcade soon!

  • Fantastic Game

Room 2 is an excellent puzzler. Some puzzles harder than others but the hint option is great for when you just keep missing something due to the angle of view. Recommended. 5*
  • Excellent game!

The Room Two has beautiful graphics - everything has so much detail, which matters when you are trying to solve the puzzles and look for clues. This was so much fun and was hard to put down. Some of the puzzles were more challenging than others but all were interesting — and the hints were just right and definitely needed on occasion.

We enjoyed the original room game and this second one didn’t disappoint! I look forward to seeing what other games this developer comes out with. Thanks!

  • Entertaining challenges

The Room 2 is just as entertaining, if not better then The Room 1, which I played years ago. So glad I found this one. Loved the quality of everything from story to moving through the challenges to figure out the puzzles. The clues help when you get stuck. Totally recommend this for anyone looking for a fun distraction.

  • Great to play again

I’ve purchased every episode the day they came out and enjoyed the heck out of them. This has been an excellent reminder why, a spooky and tense journey from start to finish.
