Controls were better in the original edition! Bring them back!
I really miss the original controls, I had to stop playing the game after playing for several years because the new ones just weren't as good. Make the action buttons larger again please. Much easier to hold the action button to do continual actions than to constantly move your finger around the screen to tap to a specific area when you want to quickly gather a bunch of items.Show lessfoto_amore

A little difficult dying over and over again not making any more progress than the previous world/life i wish there was a ”basics” tutorial showing you a good food source ect.GerryWinthrobe
ONE OF THE BEST GAMES but
Don’t starve on pc is easy but on mobile moving is difficult can you try implementing a joystick it would work lots better and i don’t know how to summon bosses i cant find any way can someone tell me in the comments

Phenomenal game slightly hindered by bugs
The game is one of the best experiences on iOS, providing you are using a Bluetooth controller as the touch controls limit combat gameplay.
Unfortunately I’ve run into a few crashes lately; namely, entering cave depths 2 for the first time will crash the game (this can be circumvented by quickly saving and quitting as you enter, then reloading) and now I’m receiving a Lua error stack trace back being close to my base. I’m not sure what’s causing this one, though it seems to reoccur after ~10 in-game hours. I hope the developers will continue to iron out these crashes, they seem to be on the ball!Show lessUNSC GG
Good game some thoughts though
You get just as much fun with this game as you do with it on any other platform. And you get the thrill that comes along with it. However with touch controls the reactions aren’t as fast, and that definitely causes problems with combat. It’s also super easy to hit the wrong button, or simply not hit any button at all. Which is pretty self explanatory that it’d cause problems, especially when you’re in a time sensitive situation. The best game ever!!
Hi don’t starve is a amazing game! Because you get to play in a open world and look around to find resources. But you might get hungry so you got to eat too. Also you need to avoid all the monsters to not get killed. And don’t go insane because monsters will start to kill you but you can’t start getting resources all day it has a day and night cycle. But this game does have a few bugs if you harvest a berry bush that is fully grown then it starts to glitch out. When you go in a cave sometimes your players will glitch for no reason that one time it happened it killed me for no reason the other than that this game is super fun I play it almost every day!!!Show lessjacob1cookie

Still fun, but prefer PC version.
I’m a die hard Don’t Starve player with every form of the game on both PC and console. I find the phone version fun, but limited. It’s very tricky to attack mobs or defend oneself with touch screen controls, so I recommend playing the lighter version that’s presented as an option in this app. Hardcore players will likely still prefer the PC version, but may enjoy this on the go.Show lessSewGlamilton
