Fantastic but lacks movement ability
It’s perfect but the only thing it is lacking is the ability to actually efficiently move around the map. I believe a joystick king of thing in the bottom left or right would solve that. Like the current mobas have.Yiphobia
Completely Hooked!
Love the game. Been playing a massive amount of time on it. Tho there is a issue that when you go to check an item to find the recipe, the text appears under your finger. Pretty annoying when learning the game.RichardAdamKimbrough
LOVE IT but a few…issues
So the reason I rated it four stars was because when I tried to use the Bundling wrap it crashed my game and I have don’t starve together and you can go out on the don’t don’t stave together BUT in regular don’t starve from what I’ve seen you can’t go out on water so that’s the reason that I read it four stars and instead of five but I really do love the game .! By the way there are other this wrong and some lag when I saves the game please fix it.. But I enjoy the game so much.. especially when I’m play don’t starve together with my mom and other people.. I can’t get don’t starve together on my Xbox because of the age restriction.. it’s not a really violent game so lower it on the Xbox.. There are 5 year old out there playing gta5 … and I’m 11 so fix the age restriction on Xbox thank you very much. MWAH

Good but...
The thing is that other than it being brand new and amazing it has a bug if I light fire as willow eventually the game just crashes on me can you fix it? Edit: question: how to unlock a lot of the others like the spider person as it looks like from the silhouette??? I will be happy if you took the time to explain thank u p.s. about the mode thingy how do you change it??? Thanks for takin the time to read or respond Edit:please add sandbox mode which unlocks each crafting recipe and tab and you can craft it immediately while tapping the item or items needed will give that to you but only one and another will give one more and then three and so on and so fourth while giving another tab called summons which will spawn in the creature in question even wear-pigs and the black bunny men and each character has every craft recipe even character exclusive ones and also a tab called foods which has every food even jerky and crockpot recipes also how did you get creative mode???Show lessAnnie_Bee123
Great game, I recommend playing.
This game is really good. It does have a few problems, like every game.
Pros:
The art style is unique and amazing. It has interesting characters that change up the game, making it fun to play and unlock them as you go along. It also has controller support, so you can play with a controller if you don’t want to use mobile controls.
Cons:
The game has a chance to crash when you go into world settings when you first create a world. It has a weird glitch where the sound randomly cuts out. You can’t delete world presets.Show lessDoomy1225
A Decent Port Not for Current iPads
* Runs worse on higher end iPads.
* Feels like a PC game.
* Small UI: best played with the Pencil.
A beautiful, large screen game such as this would seem the perfect companion for a modern iPad Pro and its high speed, 12.9" mini-LED screen. Unfortunately the game has a hard-coded list of known iPads and will run only in a low-grade/low-performance mode on any iPad not in its list, such as the M1 iPads. If it must take the odd approach of a hard-coded list, then it should at least ask for confirmation of low-grade mode.
The UI has controls small enough that I suspect it was not play tested on newer, higher resolution displays. That UI, while in the context of an iOS device, begs to be better adapted to the tablet user setting rather than just ported from PC.Show lessYuri G.
Love this game
I’ve played it for years (casually) and I still haven’t done everything yet. I love that we now have gates for the fences in the mobile version! Thank you for constantly updating and adding new stuff to keep it interesting! My favorite part overall is how customizable the worlds are - I can play easy and laid back as I want but when I want to fight for my life every moment I can do that too. Great game, but a buggy IOS port.
Bugs aside, the gameplay is challenging (in a good way), the art style is unique and looks great, the world itself is interesting and fun to explore, and you can easily sink lots of time into it. However, this IOS port has some bugs that can be frustrating.
For instance, the game allows you to customize some aspects of your world (what season you start in, scarcity of supplies, etc) but if you actually attempt to load a world with custom settings, the game will crash immediately, every time.
That’s just one example. The audio can crash at times, there are certain actions in the game/ buttons that don’t work whatsoever, etc. If you look up “Don’t starve IOS bugs” you’ll find forum posts on various websites detailing them. Overall they can be annoying, but none of them are game breaking, and I’d still recommend downloading it.Show lessPale Centaur

Needs An Update
I've been playing this game for about a month now and absolutely love it, the only problem is that the game isn't optimized for mobile. the screen will lag occasionally and stutter but that's no big deal. the biggest problem is the caves, entering the second level of the caves INSTANTLY crashes your game. when you reload the game you're stuck in the second level crashing every time you open that save file. this basically makes that save file unplayable and it cost me one of my best worlds. reading on the forums it's been happening since 2019, almost 2 years, continuously with no fix. klei does not care about pocket edition, it shows.Show lessstfhduudfogogo
