Great Game, buggy as all hell compared to other platforms
I’m addicted but, I feel like this port needs to implement support for keyboard and mouse given the iPad can be used as a laptop replacement these days. Using a controller though and you can bypass most of the control issues.
On the phone the game is too small to manage, on the iPad though this game comes to life.
There are bugs, as others have noted, but a quick refresh can restore some of them. Others are game stoppers:
-The bundle wrap doesn’t work.
-Ruins crash upon loading.
-Swamp will randomly crash the game when tentacle spawn.
Worst of all, the game is called “reign of giants” and yet I’ve not encountered a single seasonal giant in the whole pocket edition. Have they even been enabled???
An update is required to fix these issues. If Klei continues to ignore then Apple should remove them from the App Store.Show lessDigital Doctor
Love it! but....
Don’t get me wrong I love the game I play on TV with The normal game. but I only have a few problems with the mobile game... my first problem with it is you can’t play with friends. How long is not updated as far as normal game is.. like it doesn’t have the ship update yet which is really annoying. I just really wish that you could play with friends and it’s fully updatedShow lessfoxey391
Wagstaff for mobile?
It works very great. However, I have the old bell and bundling wrap recipes as wicker bottom, which I shouldn’t know. Also, when will we get Wagstaff for mobile because that video that plays shows him. I really want to play him because he looks like funs.Plague inc fan number 1
Can’t stop playing!
My friend told me about this game years ago on the PlayStation. I never touched it. Didn’t care. But then I saw it on the App Store and I was like screw it lets play it.
I can’t stop! Ugh.
My only complaint is when you die you have to start alll over again and I know that’s the point to the game but ugh it hurts starting over 😫 but it makes me keep playing it cause of that.Show lessryan.hovey
Love this game
It’s a great game, but there is an issue. If I receive a call on my phone or press the home button, the sound cuts off. I have to save the game and clear the app and restart again to start hearing sound again. Hopefully this will be fixed soonJcarter96
No instructions on how to play
You download the app, click start game and there’s no instructions besides some guy telling you to collect food before night comes (and then he disappears). You can click on grass, berries and carrots to collect them but no instructions or directions on what to do once you’ve done that. There’s also no timer letting you know how long you have or any hints telling you what your supposed to do, where to go or what to use! Deleted the app.Show lessalexwquab

Many bugs but it’s an awesome game
Don’t get me wrong I love this game but there are some game killing bugs.
1. In 2 games I played with ROG and +200 days no giants spawn.
2. Game crashes when entering the ruins. (Can quickly hit pause and save to fix it though)

Amazing game, but a few problems...
Started playing a few days ago, and I am absolutely hooked. I only have one problem. Every time I try to place a fence or fence gate, the game instantly crashes, I’m only set back by a few moments, but I have no way to close off my base.themelonsdont lye
