Enjoyable, but ultimately a money grab…
I enjoy the game play, the art, the story, etc., but it all boils down to limiting the currencies in the game to the point a player needs to spend money in order to move forward at a reasonable pace. The challenge vault is my biggest disappointment, and I’ve seen the developer responses in other reviews. Sure there are rare occasions that gems are given as a free reward. However, those rewards are so incredibly rare I have yet to earn enough to open the vault. If I could open the vault once every 5 weeks I’d be okay with that. I still play, but much less than when I started. The play to reward ratio is simply too low.Show lessNahkande

One of the best mobile games I’ve played in a long time. Fun, relaxing, and also the longer you play the more you have to think about what card is truly the best way to go!
I am liking the characters so far and overall the art is really cute. 🥰 Give it a try and I think you won’t be disappointed you did. ❤️ One warning though ~ this game does have a cash shop. So far I haven’t felt “forced” to buy anything but just wanted my review to cover everything I could think of. 😌Show lessTrickyFriday

I’ve been playing for about 4-5 months now and have progressed well. What really get me is that I upgrade, then get one or two levels in a quest and I have to upgrade again. It’s getting very frustrating. I shouldn’t have to upgrade four times to get through a quest with nine levels. I’d give more stars but …
Update: I currently have 4 quests open. I play one or two rounds in the quests in one sitting, then wait a week for my equipment to upgrade. I’m still playing but getting tired of the slow progressShow lesslc899

While it might seem like there’s only one battle available in a zone before you need to level up, we recommend exploring another zone to check if there are additional battles within the quests there. Love this game - have played it all the way to Dark Lands which has been coming soon for weeks and weeks! If it’s a bug wish they would hurry up and sort! Cant get any updates as to when it will go live so super frustrating!LadyB1964

I loved this game when I started playing it. Unfortunately they did a update where on the dragon mini game you can’t play again for 2 hours after your 1st battle with the dragon. Not good why change it for there was no need all the other mini games don’t have a 2hour wait time so why this one is beyond me. The gameplay itself is fairly easy to pick up on and the characters are decent. The game feels stacked against new players, however. You run out of gold because it forces you to use it for every single upgrade and then have no decent way to get enough bank to keep progressing/upgrading effectively. Charging 45 gems to open a chest you you EARNED rewards with is nothing but a gigantic middle finger to the player that honestly feels like you just defrauded them. Earned and paid for should be two completely different things. There are nearly zero ways to even get gems as a newer play unless you’re shelling out real money. Other people have addressed the massive energy usage for levels in their reviews and I second that too. There’s this thing called scaling I’d refer the developers to look at a bit better, cause it’s too far out of balance for newer players to actually want to stick with this game and continue past a certain point. If you want a player base that stays, you have to incentivize them, not bleed them dry and leave them with no recompense.Show lessNicky_Love8
