Last use of app

This is my first time using the app. It was confusing trying to figure out the legs and how to return to the screen before while entering address. Because I had to add it to the favorites list before it would add it to the actualPick up or drop off location. But I had to figure all that out it did not explain it. But for future use it should be fairly easy. Just time consuming

Constant sign-in issues, slow loading and does not initiate return rides..

This app constantly logs me out, and when I try logging back in an error pops up. I have to retry several times before it would finally log me in. Once logged in, it’s really slow to load and end up having to close the app and reopen in order for it to load. Even then, it would load and show no scheduled rides even though I have rides scheduled. I then have to refresh by swiping down, sometimes several times, before my scheduled rides appear. This happens probably 70% of the times I use it.
INITIATING A RETURN RIDE:
You get a text message and supposed to reply with “1” once ready to be picked up. That has worked for me only 20% of the times. The app has an “Initiate” button. You would think that by pressing it, it would initiate your return ride for you automatically? Nooooo… it prompts the number for you to call support to do that.

Yayyyyyy motivecare

So so far, the motive app works. It just sometimes takes a long time for the load, and it sometimes cannot find you and makes you login again. Other than that I haven’t had many many issues booking a ride has become much easier than having to call my insurance overall but it’s the loading time when you’re trying to see your scheduled ride or when you logged in and it logged you out, it pops up and says that they’re having difficulty or they can’t find your ride but when you do it a few times or refresh a few times that’s when it works. Sometimes it still remains stuck but oh it’s been an easy way to book your rides and I’ve booked mine three days before or a week in advance, sometimes you do have to call to make sure just in case they switched your ride to another service. I only took off one star because of the glitching of the refreshing, and not being able to always login or see your rides promptly.

Needs more work, but convenient

I like the app, however, there are a few things that still need to be fixed. I was able to successfully plan a trip for myself but when I tried to plan a trip for my child it wouldn’t let me proceed because I needed to add a driver to the account. I should have been able to easily add myself but I had to reach out to customer service. And, when I tried to reach support via the app it would go blank, I had to go to the website and login again and then select the chat option. The representative I spoke with was great. She was quick and knowledgeable and solved my problem quickly. Like I said, just a few minor issues to fix and this app is good. It will be very convenient.

Worst App I’ve ever encounter…

…I’ve got to tell you, never have I ever left a review like this, so frustrated 45 min later still no App.
Worst App I’ve ever encounter.
First I install the app by a txt msg link sent, after installation I follow all prompts to create an account (or thought I did twice). Then it asks me to create an account again, so now I have an account verified. Then I’m the account holder, then it asks me to Add a Member (I’m the member) so I enter the Member (me again) and it fails. Tells me to correctly enter date of birth as follow DD/MM/YYYY. I do and it won’t accept it. So o try again same problem, I log out to start again over and over. So I go to Help Chat Log in and the Bot tells me to register, which I did over and over, then I find a Notice to call customer service , there’s no number anywhere. So it takes back to the Bot. I took a pic of the mssg that continues to pop up, unfortunately I cannot send the screenshot I took here to show.

My rating of app

There is some confusion in the wording of questions and no answers. For example, the “Drop off” was unclear where one is “dropped off”. Is it the designated destination? Or where? Then when is the “pick-up time”? At least I am told on the phone a range of time: pick-up, plus or minus 15 minutes. Or say, aim for 9:15, with as early as 9:00 or as late as 9:30. Your app does not include that information. Why? Now, I must call. Or is there something I missed. Please help me.

can I just say thank you

calling every time I need an appointment becomes a hassle because sometimes the wait time is so long to talk to somebody or you get somebody to talk to and they’re having a bad day or you’re having a bad day and the conversation just doesn’t go right this app is amazing. Thank you guys so much, it’s truly truly truly amazing what a tool to offer us members wow

FAIL!

The first 3 trips I was able to sign when I arrived at the location I arrived at. When I returned home I was unable to sign that I arrived home it told me to move closer to the address. I had to call and that was fixed. Then the next trip I took that was fine. The following trip I was unable to sign all together that I had arrived at my location and I was an hour and 20 mins away. I didn’t have a paper form. I called customer service was on the phone for over an hour and delete the app numerous times and it had been 3 months and my problem still isn’t fixed. So, for me I’m still stuck using paper forms so this app is completely useless! The idea is absolutely wonderful, but if I could use it oh the headache of the paper form but still after the problems I have had I I believe I will always still keep a stack of forms in car because I can’t trust this app even if I could ever get it to work. Don’t trust it keep you paper forms!! Even if you use this app and it works get your paper form signed! I hope you have better luck than me.

Finally, a modern method to book transportation!

Previously, I had to call Modivcare’s 800# and be blunted from success due to faulty telephone technology being utilized, then get switched over to a human/agent where I’d have to repeat everything that I just communicated to the system. EVERY BOOKING SESSION TO 20-30 minutes until successfully completed and confirmed.

Now? The entire process via the App took no more than 5 minutes. Zero frustration.

Seems like a small thing to have joined the App Revolution but I expect I will recapture 10 hours of time previously wasted trying to book transportation the old fashioned way.

This is the first time I’ve used this app to book a ride, I’m a bit leery of how this will go.

Time will tell if a better rating is justified. I had a bad experience on the 11th with a nighttime MRI appointment. Bad communication put me in a panic because I had no idea where the curb the text said to be at was. There are several curbs and entrances.
I ended up getting locked out of the hospital because it was after 8 pm. Fortunately a nurse was coming back from ‘lunch’ and noticed me looking lost and bewildered. After ‘ running’ ( I’m somewhat disabled) from one end of the hospital and back again I called again (4x) driver was unreachable (mailbox full) till a minute before he was supposed to arrive, and he wasn’t sure how to find me. I had no idea how to reach anyone at Modivecare or Uber ((I don’t use them)
Eventually he did while complaining he was going to be late to pick up his girlfriend. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
I was a wreck.
