Money Management Made Simple
This app is a financial Swiss Army knife. Budgeting, investing, goal-tracking - it does it all. The AI suggestions are surprisingly helpful, and I love how it visualizes my progress. The learning curve is a bit steep, but stick with it. It's transformed how I think about money. A must-have for anyone serious about their finances.Show lessGreat concept, but ran into tech issues
I really like the idea of this app and that it puts everything together all in one place (banks accounts, mortgage, car loans, credit cards, etc.) that way you can get a big picture look at where your finances are at. Unfortunately, the app wouldn’t allow me to integrate my accounts so I haven’t been able to see it in action yet. When I go to link my bank account through Plaid it says “Well Done. We are linked.” However, once I go back to the main page where it is supposed to display my net worth, it does not display and says it’s at zero. I tried multiple times and this kept happening. I then manually inputted my mortgage information and that did correctly display on my net worth. I tried again to link a different account through Plaid, just in case it was an issue with my bank. This time I tried Acorns and Plaid said that it was successful in linking, but when I would go back to the main page, the only thing that displayed was my mortgage. I started exploring other parts within the app and then it logged me out all of the sudden. Once I logged back in, everything was back to zero and my mortgage was no longer inputted either. I like the design of the app and it seems like it would be pretty user friendly once these bugs are improved. I think it has lots of potential.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi! - Thank you very much for the review. Super helpful feedback! We are still ironing out a few kinks on the connection with our data aggregator partner, Plaid. Sometimes the financial institution you are linking returns an error message. It's sort of random and we don't exactly know yet why some users experience this issue and others do not. For example, I have no issues linking checking, credit cards, etc.; however, when working with some of our testers, they do encounter, even though it's the same financial institution. Regarding the logging back in and not seeing the information display, there is a 3 -5 second lag where the app (out servers, really) is placing a call to your financial institution and to our back - end to come up with the information (and, calculation) that is supposed to be displayed on the home - screen. We just designed and are coding a "loader" screen that will seamlessly communicate that the information will be displayed shortly. We get so enthusiastic about our product that we forget our users don't understand the nuances of how it behaves. Thanks again for the contribution. Very much appreciated! All the best!
