They don't tell you upfront that you only get to save 10 passwords - to get more to have to pay.

Awful support

I needed access to my iPin password. Each time I clicked on “Forgot Password” in Ipin, it sent me to the iPin2 sales page on the App Store. I contacted support from within iPin2 since I couldn’t find any other way to get hold of someone. I never heard back from anyone.

Great App

I have used this App for years and I love it. It has all the functionality you could want including integration into IOS. There is total flexibility in terms of how/what information you record. It syncs across iCloud.

The developers actively maintain the App releasing new features, bug fixes and optimisations.

All this for only £4.99 a year. I am more than happy to pay this amount. The alternative are no better and far more expensive.

Appalling service

After paying for the old app and using it for years, the app notified me I needed to update to the new version which I did. Now I’m not able to add any more entries without paying for a subscription which after paying for the original version doesn’t sit well! I WILL NOT be continuing to use iPin!! 🤬

Like many other developers, we were forced to switch to a subscription model. iPIN is now over 11 years old and the maintenance and further development for newer operating system updates and the implementation of new features is very time-consuming - quite apart from the completely new development. Unfortunately, this effort cannot be met in the long term through pure “new customer business”. The subscription has to be purchased once and can then be used on all operating systems (iOS, macOS, iPadOS). Furthermore, the subscription supports Family Sharing so that all members of the family (up to 6 people) can use the subscription. Compared to other providers, we are extremely cheap at € 4.99 per year and we will remain so cheap - 1Password, for example, charges this price per month. Switching to iPIN2 is currently not mandatory. We are not aware of any serious bugs in the old version, so you can certainly continue to use it for a while. However, the old version is no longer under development.
