Use for discounts, don’t store money

I looked and Bano deposits are not covered by Aust Govt deposit guarantee. The website doesn’t mention who the owners are or who is CEO. I’ll be keeping my money with Commbank (with Govt deposit guarantee) and transferring small amounts to get payment discounts and promotions.

Hi there, the registration requires that information as we are required by AFCA and ASIC to do these compliance checks for verification. The information we ask for is no different to other financial services in the market. As for our UX, it is constantly being updated every two weeks and we are about to introduce many more features.

Good rewards

Good fintech app with plenty if rewards/cashback and easy to understand. Been using it for the last 7-8 months and it becomes my favorite financial app

Bad stuff

The app is good. But stuff is not. They won’t listen or look your upload documents. Even it is exactly what they ask. Once they pisssed you off. Woo. They have excused. You account is locked. They said to will cost fee minutez. But trust me. They won’t .

Hi Andy, Bano finds your security extremely important and that's is why account's get locked sometimes to ensure they safety of your account. We have support staff who are consistently replying to customer support messages. There is no cost fee to unlock your account
