  • Scam App

Doesn’t do what they advertise. I think it’s a malicious app to try and steal information off your cellphone not to mention take your money. I don’t know what they’re intention is but would advise to avoid this app like the plague. They make it almost impossible to cancel the auto renewal agreement. It’s a nightmare. Just wanted to warn everyone that unless you have so much money that it doesn’t affect your life be careful.

  • Advertised for $2.99 charged me $119

I guess I used the trial version. Per their own site, they are required to notify you of your trial’s termination and offer you a subscription. But that didn’t happen. Total Adblock is garbage. It doesn’t work and they run you around despite language about their refund policy

“ If you do choose to cancel your account within thirty (30) or fourteen (14) days (as the case may be) of registering for or renewing your Services and additional services, you will receive a full refund of the payment made when you request a refund.”

If I need to call the BBB or FTC to get my refund, so be it.

  • Billed 3 times

First, I was billed separately for 3 things totaling $80. I didn’t even hit an “accept” button because I changed my mind but was billed anyway. Second, figuring I’d at least try it, the setup is a pain. Third, it doesn’t block ads. I’ve contacted the company twice so far with no response. I’d love a refund but based on other reviews, am guessing that won’t happen. So I just threw away $80. Get something else.

  • Adds

I just hope this does block all adds! I’m so sick of all the adds that have nothing to do with anything but there scam
  • Hides ability to cancel subscription

Let me be clear…it is ZERO stars. I have spent about 30-40 minutes Googling How to cancel PLUS multiple emails back and forth with these clowns trying to cancel their service. The rep just says he can’t believe I want to cancel but then completely ghosts acting upon and confirming my request to cancel.

I can see how they make money. They will wear you out with vague or no responses until you give up and just let the account keep taking money from your account.

Furthermore, Apple lets them stay on the App Store. BEWARE.

  • The worst

From the time I downloaded this app my phone started acting weird. It wouldn’t let me in to my normal day to day settings as well as blocked apps that were from apple etc. I tried to work with them from the time they mis advise you to think it’s only $2.99 they don’t mention the recurring charges. So when they offers me a $19 for the year I thought ok. Man was I wrong. This app really restricts the system and I’m sure they are going to try and charge me again as I told them to keep my $19 as it wasn’t worth dealing anymore with them. Want to know how I really feel!!!!!

  • Be careful

I decided to go for the annual cost of $40. The monthly cost was after a trial period, so I just assumed that the $40 annual cost would be after a trial period. You pay the $40 from the get-go. I don’t see how this thing works and I have emailed the creators three times requesting a refund of my $40 and I have received no response whatsoever. To me none of the ads have been blocked on Safari and it states in their settings that ads on Google and Bing are not going to be blocked, unless this is more confusing verbiage. I would really like to get a refund of my $40. My trial period would not end until December 20 or so and why they charge you the annual fee immediately I don’t understand.

Update. My trial. We’re supposed to end on December 12 but in the meantime I had purchased a $40 annual plan and when my trial period ended December 12 they canceled the whole program so I paid $40 for nothing. I can’t get in touch with anybody to try and resolve this like I said be careful

  • Rip-off DON’T BUY

I am currently trying to cancel my subscription and cannot find any phone number to contact someone to cancel subscription. I clicked the link in original order confirmation that said it was to cancel account. I sent the email, got an automated response that the email address is not monitored with another link for customer support. In the categories listed, NONE for cancellation or a phone number. I’m contacting Apple to help me w/ this issue. I see now why some app developers didn’t want billing to go through Apple. They want to be able to scam you out of your money and make it next to impossible to cancel. From now on, I will only deal w/ apps who allow billing and cancellations to be handled by Apple.

  • Charged me for six months

I got my account on June 12th. I reached out to cancel it the next day via email as they say to do because it simply did not work and i was still experiencing a ton of ads. well, i thought that was that but just today i realized they were still charging me. reached out and got nothing back so i had to have my bank cancel the charges and refund my money after filing a fraud claim because seriously, that’s what this is. don’t use it. go anywhere else just not here.

  • Run far run fast

Just say no to these crooks. I was unable to find any difference between before and after installation. There was no change in the number or type of ads on my system. I notified the customer service reps and was sent from one “help” link to another. I am waiting for the next link to no where as they haven’t responded to my emails with anything more than a “not this office” link. All within the introductory period. I believe this is a dishonest group of folks or even just one person that thinks they are clever. Just don’t get sucked in. They don’t deliver but I can’t give them a negative star score.
